  is XPBPROX your gamer tag for xbox live? cause i live in cali too so we have the same time umm if you want we can chat on that while im screwing with some super bounces or something.

  well im not an exact expert on hard drive replacement since i havent had much success yet since i havent gotten the right hard drive.
  
  im assuming you dont even care about the other hard drive your just going to toss it...
  
  but if you can still do everything normal like go on the modded dash just get a program called ConfigMagic and download it to your computer and then FTP it to E:/apps then get your eeprom(easy way to get it without digging in files (: ) from it then follow some tutorials on, to install HDD on soft modded xbox .

  see if i sent you my files it would do you anygood...see when i was talking about the eeprom
  
  that is a special code that your xbox has on it so it will only play that hard drive that has that number in it.. have you ever opened up your xbox...i assume you did since you know a brush is broken...i really really wish i didnt have to say this but your xbox is useless unless you buy a chip and get it installed...the chip makes it so any hard drive can go into without getting eeprom numbers..
  
  you should just get the chip...if not you just need a whole new xbox...unless you got some hook ups with people that are hella good at computers and games..and they do it for cheep.. hey im going to send you a friend request on live we should play a couple games of halo 2

  um the only way i know how to do it is by using config magic on the apps of your xbox then ftp and get the eeprom....but make a post about it on the forum bored cause that is a good subject to post.
