  Hi woof881,
  by any chance, can you help me out..
  I've got a M3DS Real and 1 NDS folder..
  Is it possible to have more than one folder with roms e.g. favorite, puzzle, etc...
  I was having a problem (with 70 ROMS, & total of 128 files in NDS folder) when scrolling through the list, then back, the games vanish...
  I now got an 8GB MicroSD and would like to have more ROMs and if possible in other folders.

  hey woof881 i was wonderin if u could help me i jus got the max media dock and the cf card nd stuff but zip, winRar and all other formats dnt work on it nd i cnt play any games : (
  could u plz ritee back on hw 2 change the game formats to an .nds file format
  plz rite bak i wnt be able 2 play games on it until i find out how lol

  hiya there dont mean to be a pain but i notice your help a man with his daughters dstt card, mines doing exactly the same so i tried to do what you advised and when i click on the link [ link ] it says theres a problem with the web page, im just wondering if theres any other way i can get on that sight to fix mine?? thanks alot

  please help it appears you know a lot about the dstt
  i have downloaded the folder and 2 files on to 2gb sd card and some games unzipped and in nds file mode but when i put the sd in to the adapter and in to the ds it just comes up menu? in red writing please please help ive been trying to make it work for days now

  Hey Woof would appreciatte your help, I have followed your excellent instructions on the thread R4 issues with DS Lite and I am still having problems, your instructions were spot on and I had no issues with the install, I am still having issues with the screen hanging on Loading when being switched on. I have also tried different firmware versions 1.18/1.21/1.25 and still the same issue. I have a R4 NDSL/NDS card and a 2gb Kingston Micro SD card. I have now been at this for four hours, my kids already have SD cards with games on however my PC won't let me read the cards, keeps asking for me to format the drive so I have bought a brand new card and I am getting this problem. Would love to get this fixed for Xmas.

  hi there ......you seem to be the man in the know,so pls help me out..il be waiting...iv downloaded some ds games and they appear to have several ra00 and ra01 and ra02 files once i unzip them...iv then unzipped through extraction one of the ra files and have obtained a nds format file.iv then pasted the file after copying to my memory stick.some of the games appear as a file format not nds format,which iv been told is normal..i was wondering,will my ds make the.sav file formats itself or do i hjave to?when iv plaxce dthe games in the ds,it says loading and nothing happens apart from ds not being read or something or when i do access the games and applications folder,just my previously loaded games appear,not the new ones,although they are on my memmory stick?any idea what im doin wrong?your help will be much appreciated..regards

  Woof811, I read on one of your messages about the R4 not having a SDHC version and that they would be clones, you also gave 3 sites that you trust to get genuine, I have noticed on those sites that they sell an R4 SDHC model, I bought one from an auction sight and can't get it to work and looks like I could have got a fake but do you know if they do now have a genuine SDHC model or are they still all clones, I have just about had enough, I have been sitting here for hours trying everything on the forum and had no success at all, thanks

  I found the answer to my problem, the R4 ultra with SDHC is legit and had to have the right firmware from r4ultra.com and it now works with the 4 gig card aswel it works beautifully,,

  Hey man, I'm also having troubles with the R4, I have a 2gb Lexar, and I'm also copying 5 files into the microSD. (_system_, moonshl, _DS_MENU.DAT, _DS_MENU.INI, _DS_MSHL.NDS) Is that correct, I have been at this for hours and you seem like the person to ask.

  No but you must have the firmware from www.r4ultra.com if you have the R4 SDHC Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)
  I tried firmware from the suggested R4 regular spots and had no luck, I sent the guy I got it from an email to say that it didn't work and that my R4 was a clone and his supplier must have short changed him and this was the reply I got
  Hi,
  The reason people say these are clones is because R4 team was sued and doesnt exist anymore. The programming was sold to chinese companies, who came up with thier own hardware.
  These cards however definately do work with 4gb and even 8gb. The original R4 software does not work no, because the original R4 doesnt support SDHC and is very old.
  The software needed for this card is from www.r4ultra.com it has to be extracted onto the micro sd after it has been formatted.
  
  I followed the instructions in the email and as a result it was as easy as it should always be, Make sure you format the card even tho it does receive the files, fat32 is fine, then put the files in from the firmware after extracting them and try it, you should get the short loading screen and then it should go in to the R4 GUI front end, then turn it off and install a folder called Games and place your game files in there
  There is also an organiser for the DS and you can get that by looking up DSOrganise on google, but make sure you have all the game side of it working first before you start playing with other options,,
  Also it is a good idea to creat a backup of your Micro SD card on your desktop or to a directory of your choosing once you have it all working before you try something like DSOrganise just incase you do something to mess it up you can easily put it back to a working state, I would alwasy keep a good up to date backup incase for some reason your micro card stops working you can get a new card and format and copy accross your backup.
  I am certainly no specialist in this area infact a beginner of only a few days, but following the above instructions has given me a great easy working solution.
  does the original R4 group still exist ? No idea, I can only go by the email I received. All I can tell you is that Mine is now working and working well.

  i am refering to advice you posted on 25th feb re. the nds prob some guy (Paddlinp) was having and to thank you also for that info you passed onto him.-i too have had the same problems and i will try this out tomorrow but i am sure it will work so i will thank u in advance,you are a shining example of what this is all about and you can hold your head high ...thank you.
