****ing Datel....

26 Oct 2006 0:45 (Edited: 26 Oct 2006 0:45)

Turns out, the wonderful 64MB Max Memory card I bought for my PS2 is utter crap. Worked great for a while, but as of late, I've had nothing but problems with it.

A few months ago I found out it didn't work with Katamari Damacy. Not a big deal, right? It's just one game.

Unfortunately, that's not the end of it. My brother has one as well. Apparently, whenever you hit about 10MB of data on the card, it goes to shit and starts randomly corrupting saved games or just refuses to work at all.

This is what really pisses me off though. I had tons of issues with Okami not saving on this memory card. I literally spent half an hour retrying before it was able to save. This is when all my problems got worse.

I finally got my hands on PSU, the game I've been wanting for a long time. If it wasn't enough that it took forever to get a subscription for online play and the servers being down, I can't even use that memory card with it. Now, I probably would've been fine with that. However, when the game save corrupted, I couldn't delete it. Turns out, it corrupted one of my Okami saves along with my Bully and Yakuza saves. That's about 30 hours of gameplay lost.

Just wanted to vent really. All I wanted to do was play PSU online. This is exactly why I try not to look forward to anything. Everytime I do it ends with me being pissed off about something...
