XBMC failure causes major filesystem damage!! It crashed and renamed all the directories on my F partition with illegal characters.. Theres a great reason for only using it as an application, not a main dash.. Imagine the problems with a softmod if it had been able to access the files on C

That's on Table Mountain, just outside of Wrightwood, CA in the San Gabriel Mountains
about 6000 feet above LA. The great thing about LA is that it was almost 80 degrees yesterday
in LA and we could drive up to the mountains and play in snow that was that powdery and nice.
In the sun it was still warm enough not to need a jacket. Later on, I did put on a long sleeved shirt
and of course, gloves for making a snowman. :)

Thanks! It has been an intense concentrated push but definitely worth not only doing but doing as quickly and as focused as I did it. I have too many dreams and goals in life and am too old to have gone the slow way. When you're starting over from next to nothing, and you know exactly where you want to be, you'll do whatever it takes to get there.
I don't think another degree will be part of that. Unless you want to go into administration or teach at a university, which I don't, it doesn't give you enough of a pay increase to be worth getting a PhD. There is always a continuing ed requirement, so other than staying current in my field, I think my focus now will be on making some other people's dreams come true.

I went as thin Elvis, someyears later as fat Elvis and then dead Elvis complete with autopsy scars etc. He lived a couple of blocks around the corner from me for 6 mo while at UT Memphis, He died across the street from my original addy on campus but I had been gone for 9 years by then.

Just because you saw a UFO (and I believe you did, since you didn't know what it was) doesn't mean it had little green men and was extraterrestrial. The other night I was watching the news and it said that in 5 minutes the space shuttle would fly over my house. I went out to see it and sure enough it did. BUT there was a slightly brighter object trailing it, a full Moon's width away. If I had not known that the shuttle was near the International space station I could have assumed a UFO was following the shutttle, which some people probably thought.

Sorry so late posting back. I haven't tried the traxdata DL disc. I've never seen them in any stote here before,but have heard the name. What I have found out about DL +Rs are that the DYNEX brand DLs that I got for a little over buck a disc are coding out as Ricoh Jpn. I have burned all but 2 of 15 and had only one coaster using ImgBrn. I don't game so I don't know about backing up XBox360s. So far the older Verb 2.4X have been wonderful DLs MISingapore. Am reluctant to try The MIIndia variety that I see at BB today. I still have a Verb DL X2.4 25 pack unopened to go. I really have to enjoy the movie to want to use a DL. My panny upconvert does a wonderful job on compressed DVD 4.7s. I have no intention of ever upgrading to Blue Ray discs. The cost alone is prohibitive for blanks and hardware. I'm one of the if it ain't broke don't fix it, so I'm still on Nero 6.6.0.18 and windows XP and perfectly content with that combo plus the other 10 or so programs I use.
Just got back from going home to see my 87yr old Mom. She has trouble getting around and eyes are fading, but her mind is as sharp as ever and she still manages very well her money. The family is fine. The wife and I got a nice one day break since we're around each other mostlly24/7.

the FBI would not be able to hack into any computer
after these downloads were on that computer.

P.S. It took me around 3 hours to download all
4 programs but you may be able to work faster.
I also checked out all 4 programs on the internet
before downloading to make sure they were safe
(I trusted the high-tech security manager's suggestions
but I still had to check it out for myself).

I could download all of those in 4 minutes 30 Seconds Give or take a minute.. This guy has got to be on ether ISDN or POTS.

Dail-up is the Hardest Thing to trace in the computer World because every time you dial-out its a new number and there a single stream.

ISDN is the second hardest because of Multiple streams however it still dials-out.

Cable is moderate has the IPs issued Mainly Change after 3 months,and it uses multiple Streams.

DSL is easy To trace As your Ip never changes, also multiple Streams.

Fiber is A joke if the Goverment wanted to look at what your doing on the internet they could in a matter of secounds.

have you ever heard of seven???? brilliant programmer.....he/she eventually stopped releasing material because lame ass-fanyboyz would abuse his programs......and they kicked and cried when he stopped releasing his aim cracks......

btw am going to be buying a lot of 8 legged Eeprom memory, PDIP-8, am waiting for my mouser catalog to come in the mail so i haven;t made up my choice on the exact chip, their around $1.68 a piece if i buy them in the amount of 100........but of course in order to write the hexs to the eeprom memory i need a programmer........have you ever worked with this kind of junk????? am just learning.....

i've been told a good programmer makes a difference but im not paying more then 250$ for one.......do you know any good brand names for programmers?? preferably one that can write to multiple chips at the same time???? any idea what im talking about??? lol im confused to pieces on the whole subject but my brother will be coming to town next week and he should be able to lend me a hand:)
