To buy or not to buy?

Anyone wanna spare me some payday cash?? Anyone?? Hehe...

Okay, sorry for asking... I was just going through Ebay and found sooooo many gorgeous dresses I wanted to get! Not just dresses either but a whole bunch of stuff. I dunno what's got into me. Last time, I never even thought of online shopping. It's always been something I feared. I've heard so many horror stories of online shopping to last me a lifetime..or not!

Now, it has started. I'm trying hard not to think about it but everytime I go online, I check out Ebay! I tell myself that it's no biggie.. I'm just checking it out, not purchasing anything. No big deal, right? But then I see something I like and BAM!! I'm hooked! I check out the item every single hour of the day to check if anyone has bid on it, or if the bid has gone higher.

So, what's a girl supposed to do now?? Just buy it?? Or have someone else snatch it away from under your nose? So I ponder on this... for days! I've got approximately 5 days to think about it. When times like these arise, I'm glad I'm not an impulsive shopper like xxxxxxx. So I just think it through... sleep on it... And when the universe speaks to me, I ACT!

And what do I do?? I BID!! I bid like no tomorrow... bid after bid, the item gets more and more expensive. The mind creature in my head is screaming at me, STOP!! STOP!! Let it go already!! But nooooo... I can win this! I'm winning... I'm winning!!

But then I stop. Wowwww... what a powerful mind creature I have! I let it go.. I see my desired item go to someone else... And after a few minutes, I realise that I'm fine. I can still breathe.. I'm A-OK!! So I breathe again, happy that I didn't use up most of my money on something I could live without... *big sigh of relief*

Wait! What's that?? Wow... pretty dress!!! Hmmmm..... should I?????

oh and to this date my score is 51 bids won~1 lost

it was a bid on a beautiful *SOB* 25 original queen records, still in original packaging from its release date.....dam i had to pee and lost the greatest bid i'll ever see in my life

The secret to eBay is to snipe, plain and simple. Bidding wars suck, instead let the other person think they have it with a low bid, then have an automatic sniper service place a bid for you last minute. There are a few reputable sites that do it for free, just change passwords before and after using them as a precaution.

Not only saves you money by not driving the price up on yourself, but stops you getting compulsive.

Dear mistress varnull, I do well understand the adrenalin rush of good hunt and kill in ebay. I think pursuing our passions supports the inner child so actually you have to do it for her sake :)

I also dare to assume that the solution to your problem is not beyond your grasp if you think bigger.
