  concerning a wii mod. When talking about what cd-rom will rip a game.... this is the rom that you need to put the game onto your computer correct? There is no need to replace the drive in the wii?

  Any drives listed have been confirmed, I have not seen a 4082.
  
  Yes, the DVD-ROM is for the computer not the Wii. The Wii does need a mod chip to read burned games though.

  UOU. I’m A silver surfer and trying to get Wii games for my daughter
  I’ve been down loading from torrent sites, now am I right in assuming that if the up loader as not used a LG rom device it’s a waste of time ?
  Or if they have, and I then use a raw dump, then burn it, will it work?
  I’ve not yet chipped the Wii, trying to get this ripping/burning sorted out first

  I'm asking over here because the ebay prices are getting ridiculous.. Do think perhaps this drive will work, although its not a hitachi?

  pls explain how to rip game on macbook. I installed bootcamp on my MBP. As soon as I inserted a wii disc in, winxp sp2 kept ejecting the disc. I used tweakUI to disable auto play on UJ-857E super drive. however it did not help.

  do you still have a full dvd replacement case, black for the gamecube?
