  Hey I have a question..I saw that you told someone about firewire or something like that becauze of their camera not being recognized on their computer. On another forum I saw someone say firewire did something to their camera and they had to buy a new one? I don't know whether I should attempt to use firewire or to keep on looking for a download, even though that has seem fruitile so far..

  You mentioned you never herd of a sound card with a sb1394 input, this is what i have [ link ] can be used to stream digital video camera to the computer? thanks for the skinny!

  I just wanted to say a big thanks to you. I was having trouble finding the software for my Sony Handycam (cd misplaced) and I read your suggestion that I get a FireWire and well....it worked and only cost me $7 instead of what Sony wanted for a replacement cd. Now and can begin to figure out how to use Windows Movie Maker....that's another story! lol Thanks loads for your help! Dee
