  I just purchased AnyDVD but it doesn't ask me for the source drive and the destination drive. I don't understand the program. I can't get much satisfaction from SlySoft. They just tell me to double click the key

  Hello, its me again. We talked a bit back when the OC'ing forum started. Just a little note to say hey. Hope all is well wtih you. Are you still running the same 7600 gt in you rig? I just recently upgraded to two of them. NICE. Anyway have a happy daylight savings day!

  They have been great in SLI. I took me a little bit to figure out how to do it, I mean to get good results. I have been using Rivatuner to manage my SLI. Playing Crysis and Frontlines has been amazing. I kinda have to scoff at these gamers who have to have the best ALL the time. The XFX gForce 7600gt in SLI get almost as good as some of the more pricey models. In fact when viewing a friends rig who has the 512Mb 8800Gt's in SLI i can barely notice a difference. Other than the fact that some pice of software says his rig is doing this well I visually can not tell the difference.

  Not really had the opportunity to test it fully yet, but I will do in a bit. HDTach perhaps? It's a typical samsung though, silent airborne and seek noise, but vibrates like nothing on this earth!

  Still trying to get the drivers in. Lots of questions, is there a thread that walks you through a new install? Took me a whole day just to get the wrong modem to work. Got me online though, and now have to get a new DVD RW when I get to town. Living in the country does have it drawbacks...

  I've been reading about the upcoming Phenom II x940 I am interested in building with this chip instead of with the Core i7 965. Any idea when it will be available to purchase? What mobo would you suggest as the best to go with this chip? Since it is an AM2+ chip, would the Mushkin DDR2 1066 2GB x 2 be the best bet? I'd still like to use a 4870x2 graphics card with this setup. Already have a new Antec 900 case, and a new Antec 1000 watt PS. I can't do the SAS - 15K disks (without an expensive controller card) so probably go with a pair of velcoraptors (along with the pair of Seagate 750GB 16MB drives (new) that I have waiting for the build.
  
  Russ, any help you can give on this will be greatly appreciated. I'm sure the build will be VERY fast and I'd kind of like to see AMD around for a good long time.

  Hi again Russ:
  I have again found the AMD building thread (you're probably wondering how I lost it - don't ask!). If you want (or would) answer my previous private message to you to be public, please paste it on the forum. I will look for a response there. From the research I have done (just a little), it appears that the Phenom II x4 940 should be available in the US around January 8th which is fine. I've decided to wait until I get back from DC (inauguration) and a quick side trip to the rotten apple for a few days of plays and concerts. Then it all gets ordered for my new build!
