  You answered a very important question!!! You were asked," my psp states to press "o" or "x" but no words come out when i try to update. You replied to restore default settings. This is the error i was getting due to the fact my friend updated to 1.52 without it plugged it!! I want to thank you so much for helping me and that other one guy fix my psp. I had just put it on ebay to sale since i thought it was worthless!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

  I WAS WONDERING IF YOU CAN HELP ME. I OPEN THE UMD DRIVE ON THE BACK OF MY PSP TO SEE IF I HAVE THE IC1003 OR THE IC6001 CHIP. WELL AFTER LOOKING AT IT, I SEE BOTH OF THEM ONE ON EACH SIDE OF THE CHIP. SO WHAT MODEL DO I HAVE?
