hello there I have a problem backing up my PS2 games for I have a copy of dvd decrypter i follow the normal process and rip a copy the problem I have is when I put a blank DVD_R in to drive it says that the disk is not empty do i need to format disc or something first. I am new to all of this so would appreciate some help.

HEY, i got the latest dev hook workin well with browser and everything BUT it wont load my ISOs. When i select reboot XMB it reboots into 2.5 FW but no game to select, if i change reboot XMB to the next option it goes to FW 2.5 and then says game could not be loaded or sumthin along those lines..
Hey svstang, im a new member, and basically i can see you now everything you need to know about psp 1.5's. Im really bamboozled by all this prx...devhook...new games stuff..!!! Basically, i bought a 1.5 a while back, happy with everything on it games etc... But know i want to download new games to play on my psp but i see its not as easy as before. So i downloaded Tomb Raider for psp, an 850mb file. But it came as all separate files. So after a bit of searching i decided to use UMDGEN to put these files together. I also saw that i needed a program called devhook to confuse the psp into thinking it was 2.5 to play this game. So i put my .iso file that i had created into my UMDemulator iso folder, and installed devhook. I then tryed to play it on my psp, following instructions very carefully, but i came to no avail. S

oops...hit return by accident.....continuing....So i then saw i needed some sort of prX files to play the game, so i downloaded the Starwars BF ones, and put them into UMDgen along with the separate files of tomb raider, and turned them into 1 iso. Tryed the same as before but didnt work again. ey stang can u help? i have a movie express it doesnt work like its used to got stuck in an error message once i click the record it button.. it says cannot open output file.. the file iis readonly protected or is in use by another application... i uninstalled and installed it a couple of times also use the lesser version the express. still doesnt work.. help.. tried the psp 9 it wont work also..

you cant, you will have to wait for a downgrader. Only up to 3.03 is downgradable as of now, so just pray to your god that dark alex or team noobz finds an exploit and create a downgrader.

Hey man I know your busy and you don't know me but I need your help. I've searched and searched and can't get help. It's concerning Rogue Galaxy. I downloaded the rapidshare rip kit. I follow the instructions and it does not work for me. I use apache 2 to extract both layers of the iso to the rip kit folder. I know two layer disc have a layer0 and a layer1 right. Well with apache the only option i see is extract layer1. I don't see anything about layer0. So I extract one time. Then in apache 2 i right click and press switch layers. Different data does pop up but when i go to extract it still says extract layer1. I can't change that option as far as i know (I've tried)so i click extract. Im left with 2 iso's the exact same size. I open the .bat wait for all that crap to finish witch for some reason only takes 5 seconds. Then im left with the iso im supposed to burn right. But the iso it creates is no where close to even half of a gig. That can't be the whole game. So I don't know what to do anymore. Can you please help me. Thanx

Hey svtstang, first time on your shout, but being your quite the expert, I was wondering if I could get an assist. I followed just about all the guuides on AD for Rogue Galaxy. I finally got one to work(I use SM 3.8) It takes about 5 minutes to load and loads some of the screens slow as well. I was hoping there was a better way to do it, I used Psychospacefish and this is as good as I got. Also there was also a rogue mvi2pss decryptor that was posted, but there wasnt any instructions and now one responded when I asked for help with it, so I'm stuck with a somewhat successful backup, but I'm sure that It could be better with some assistance, thanks in advance.
