  Hi Steo,
  
  I see your the main man with Starview problems, and I know a fair bit myself so its not a stupid question.One question however if u dont mind.
  
  Have a few Starviews,currently on software 257e, which is okay but pain in the ass changing codes every few days. I also have v300e software, but i have been told that in Ireland when this software is put on the real (not cloned) boxes that the boxes freeze and scramble every 20 mins!!
  
  I am thinking that instead of putting new codes on my box every few days that I will install the v300 software.Would you suggest this for Ireland or v400 which I see is also out??
  
  Also regarding the clone boxes which I received from ebay, any software upgrade solution for that or is it just a case of codes all the time?
  
  I would appreciate any suggestions.thanks in advance

  The new version 257 with autoroll enabled is the way to go. I tested this on clone boxes with positive results. hope this helps.

  hi i hope you can help me with this query, i have had a look through the forums but the topic doesnt seem to be covereed, my sister got an reprogramed ntl card from someone in ntl but her box seems to have broken(wont come out of standby)dont think it has anything to do with the card but she tried her card in my(legal) ntl box and some of the stations are coming through but the "you have not subscribed to this channel " is coming in over the picture, do you know if the card neeeds to be re-paired with a new box or is there some codes she needs to enter or something, any help would be appreciated, we are in dublin btw/

  Hi
  I just bought a Euro-Voz 2007 and when i plug it in the standby button stay red and there are green lines across the box. I saw earlier in the forum someone mentioned it should have came with software. My box (red box) only came with a remote and plug. I had been using the 2006 version box so i have just plugged all the wires that were into the 2006 version into the 2007. Can anyone help. I am big bit computer illiterate.

  hi, just a short question, hope u'll be able to answer, i have a eurovox 2007 red box for the last few months with firmware from march on it, for what reason will i need to update this firmware or will i ever need to? wb when ya have a chance! thanks! ps. scouser directed me to you!

  hi i was wondering if you could tell me why once i have connected my eurovox blue to pc and run dnupman following your user guide its asking me which com port to select . My box has been going for about 1 year but fed up with green screen in morning , thanks

  hi just got a starview box im still on contract with virgin can i drop my package to the free one and just plug in the new box or do i have to keep the virgin box conmected with a splitter cheers ash

  feel cheeky asking but you seem to be the one who can when it comes to star view boxes..
  just joined the forum and like all the other guys my box went down a couple of days ago..
  i`ve tried to edit the nacrovision but when i press store the (store and ok) flash between them
  but when i exit no changes have been made.??
  would you by any chance have a solution for me..
  maybe an idiot guide?? HeHe

  Hi i followed your guide to flashing the starview box step by step when i hit download it just doesnt download it just says flash update fail after a few seconds I dunno what the problem is i have the correct cable which connects to the serial connector on my pc and the cable box but the download just aint working!! would u know wat the problem is hope u can help!! thanks

  codes for all areas and providers updated daily.
  sometimes can`t get on2 the site due to demand but it always returns following Day

  Hi steo, Im new to this and i was wondering can you get me the frequencies for midlands ireland (athlone) on Ch**us.
  I am currently recieving 88 channels and i know that i can get more because when i first installed my starview 3, there were more but they didn't save.

  Hi Celtic 71, I have a Starview box. i am living in dublin. its a genuine model and says API ver: 7.0, 7 June 2007 in system information. i have recently been coming to update the codes when they change but now i see they're not being posted anymore. what should i do? someone said update the firmware, how do i do that?is there a step by step guide anywhere to do it....??thanks a million

  Really sorry to bother you but you seem to be the man in the kow when it comes to these boxes. I have the right codes in but somewhere along the line I have lost about twenty channels. Some one said that I should be able to store these manually but I have no idea how to do this. Do you think it is possible or should I just try to buy a new one. Many thanks for your time. Lyn.
