Hey, I noticed you posted to a newb about burning an mkv file to a blu-ray disc for playback on a stand-alone blu-ray player. I am also new to the blu-ray burning scene and have been trying with no success. I have used tsmuxer to create the bdmv and certificate folders, and burned with imgburn, but I believe that the res is not right. The reported res, using BDedit to view the file info is 1980:800, and the framerate is 23.976. I believe this is where the problem lies, because the audio will play fine when I try to play it in my stand-alone player, but the screen just displays blackness. I have been searching for a solution on this site with no success yet, and I will continue to search, but I wanted to ask if you could direct me to some sort of guide for changing the resolution to one that is compatible with my player, like 1980x1080 or 720.

sorry to bother you bro but maybe you can help me? i am streaming ripped blu ray movies to my ps3 but i get no photo icon with the file just a blank folder icon with the movie title. unlike my music that has all the photo icons when they are being streamed... is there any way i can add a photo 2 the files.. thanks in advance for any help.... i use tversity so stream, i tried using tsmuxer to mux the file but had no audio.. now i use mkv2vob and it works fine.... but why no photo along with my movie file???

Hi Ryu i need your help mate. just joined this forum and basically i was having exactly the same problem Torrs was having and he seemed to find the answer to it but never posted the full method and i can't get into contact with him to find out do you know how to contact him at all i could really do with you help cheers this is a link to the thread in which he discovered the answer to my problem cheers [ link ]
I left you some more info/link. I should have been searching for President of the BDA instead of Chair. He is the President of the BDA.
