Thanks for answering my post, it was a long shot but thought I'd give it a try. I'm not new to computers or burning but the internet video is. I would like to write on the (UN) AfterDawn chat room but it isn't something I know how to do. It sorta looks like the old BBS's. Yep, I've been around for decades.

No thanks.. You can keep the cmc-mags.

I have some mr-dvd which are worse than those, but good for target practice.

  • koozie11 (02 Feb 2008 15:56)

Hey, i want to ask you a question but i dont know if this is the place to do it. It's in regards to dvd flick. When i open my file, and go to create dvd, it says i should put my project's destination folder on a drive with the NTFS file system, and it says that file systems like FAT32(which i am running on) cannot handle files more that 2 gigabytes in size. I was just wondering if i should continue or will i just be wasting a disk?

  • varnull (04 Feb 2008 1:58)

Hi koozie.. Is there any reason for using fat32.. like running windows 98?

You are wasting your time really trying to build dvd's with modern software on an obsolete filesystem like that.

as most of the fat32 software for dvd building is long gone , and all the new ones are written with NTFS no filesize limits then all I can think of is to try this..

    link ]

It's complicated.. why don't you run a sensible filesystem instead of that antique fat32 thing?

  • Rotary (04 Feb 2008 12:37)

output as files and all good to go, dont output as iso...

  • Q45 (26 Feb 2008 22:24)

    hey whats up?

i was wondering, how do you make it so you can skip through different files in dvd flick

i have about 20 different files but when i burn them and i play it, i cant skip through different ones

  • cured8 (16 Apr 2008 8:41)

hi rotary, sorry i have been so late with my reply to my thread.. i've been really busy.

I have posted a new log.

    Cheers

  • wgoj (17 May 2008 23:59)

Thanks for the help Rotary, it worked great.

  • pjspitt (08 Jun 2008 3:58)

Hey Rotary, wondering if you can help me with a problem which hsa plagued me from day 1 of burning dvd's! I use nero 7 nero vision 4 to burn avi files to dvd, i have no trouble at all doing this with movies and they all come out percfectly in audio sync, even if i put a couple of movies, usually around the 700 mb onto a 4.7 dvd they come out fine. However, if i try putting tv shows onto disc, using the same method, for example 4 episodes of Lost, when i play the disc back the audio sync goes out on each show roughly 20 - 30 minutes in. I have my setting's on superlong play, is this affecting the quality? Is there anyway to overcome this problem using nero instead of a seperate programme?

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Paul

  • donjuan60 (12 Jun 2008 19:32)

hi, u told me to download img burning. Im aq little slow at this, i want to put a mpeg movie not copyrighted onto a dvd. I downloaded the program. Is there a way you can possibly give me step by step instructions. I would be most greatful. My email address is smithdnjn690@aol.com. Thank you for your time

  • wilbur_f (12 Jun 2008 19:38)

    G'day Rote.

Re my Nero problem. Would appreciate your opinion of this for a Backup prog. instead of Nero Backitup which as you know, I can't get now with Lite?

    Regards

I saw that you know quite a bit about AutoGK. I was able to sucessfully rip from a VOB format for video, but did not get any audio.

    Could you help?
