  I am putting in more time in research and class discussions than I ever did in a face to face setting the first time I was in college. You went to a class for a few hours two or three times a week and all the discussion was over in that time. Here I am responding to discussion threads every day and the discussions between the students and the professor become more lengthy and detailed. Because I can access all of the major scholarly databases from home I am spending far less library time just in the physical process of getting to the materials and more time actually using them . It's a different world but increasingly the brick and mortar places are using it too. I spent the afternoon with a librarian from a traditional college being tutored in more effective use of the online databases. I have been through a traditional master's degree program once before- my ex's so I know how that is and considering the amount of work I am already doing and the pace of this program I am working harder and having to produce more in a shorter period of time than he ever did. Also we do meet in person too, only part of the work is online. I hope that clarifies things for you. Good luck with your page!

  i wasn't talking a bit about "views," i was talking about what actually happened. and it only takes 1% of the population to fuck everything up for everyone else.
