  I bought a nokia 6230 off ebay. i put a uk o2 sim into it and it worked fine. i put an ireland vodafone sim into it and it also worked fine. when i put my uk o2 sim back in it says phone restricted. i dont no which network the phone was on before. can you help?

  I too have searched endlessly and cannot find how to remove the restriction by entering an unlock code for a nokia 6010. All i see are services wanting $$ for it and the phone isnt worth what they want for unlocking it. It had a tmobile sim card, I put in a cingular go phone card now its useless, i have already tried 3 codes to no avail. Bought in TX now in NC, trying to use it as an emergency phone for my daughter without buying a whole new phone
