  Checking out the fit of a pristine minty Kramer Focus 5000 at the Sam Ash store in Hollywood !
  I've been looking for one of these for 20 + years and this is the first one I've found - it is in incredible condition for its age !!! Woohoo !

  Yes indeedy ! It has been so far 8 )
  As far as I can tell , the pickups are original and sound very good ! It's a 20+ year old guitar so I'm having to do some routine maintenence things but I've got it working nicely .
  The three on - off switches give it a lot of versatility - it gets everything from total grind to happy pretty sounds !

  yes indeedy 8 ) I really want to get this one gig-ready - it needs a teeny bit of professional help but should be fine !
  
  These Kramer guitars from that era were made in Japan , fast as possible to meet the demand , so 9 out of 10 I have seen had some sort of fit or measurements out of kilter . This one has the common problem I have seen with many Kramers where the neck wants to shift , which of course messes up the tuning . I do have a friend out o town who is an expert at this stuff so when I can get it to him it will be All Fixed Up and I'll rip on it profusely ! 8 )

  That's good because it was never my intent to have it go this long without your playing it. I offered to get that taken care of right away but things do move a lot slower out there. Priorities as always.

  Obviously you want to be playing it. You didn't search obsessively for 20 years for it and then get that excited when we found it to just be happy sitting there not playing it.

  lol seriously. I just reread this. I shipped this to you in June???Mailing you the check to get it fixed already . Sheeeesh. You're like my son when he begged for a Razor scooter then left it out in the rain to rust. Boys. sheesh.
