SHOT DOWN - Part Deuce

OK, so I wasn't shot down again, thank goodness; if that happened I think the only other place I could go with Michelle than "Just friends" is "Not friends".

Anyway, her and I hung out most of the afternoon today from about 11:30 until ~16:00. I found out some new information as to why she wants to be "Just friends". Turns out that she just moved in the past few years and I am one of only a few post-high school friends that are close by.

So, between that and with us both going to college she thinks it is not an appropriate time to have a boyfriend. I agree with her on some of the aspects of this, especially after having some explanations as to why.

While in hindsight my initial language-laced rant wasn't totally necessary I will admit I don't regret it. The reason being, I simply had to get it out there. While is wasn't (and isn't) the best idea I've had keeping it bottled up isn't that good of an idea either.

So, today was good, I ate lunch with her family, which was a giant lunch. I am not complaining but it was so big I thought they accidentally brought out dinner instead of lunch. :P

Her and I went bowling so she got to see my "I-only-bowl-a-few-times-a-year" skills (translation: I suck). That was fun as they have some "kids get to bowl free in the summer" were you can get one free game each day so all I had to pay for was shoes.

We then went back to her house and played Smash Bros. Melee for about 20 minutes. It wasn't a bad idea and with it being nearly 100 outside my second idea (playing basketball) was out of the question. My first idea was also out of the question, I wanted to go swimming but her mom didn't like that idea of just her and I going (duh!) and no one else wanted to come with us.

We went for a walk and talked about all sorts of things. This was nice as I wanted to ask her some stuff between the two of us.

I thought about hanging out with her tonight, she invited me to dinner and fireworks, but I am probably gonna hang out with friends.

Anyway, in summary, things are not all bad with Michelle. Things are definitely better than they looked when the original "SHOT DOWN" occurred.

I will keep everyone updated, even if its really no one but myself. :P
