The pistol is there in case I got jumped by one of the numerous mountain lions in the area. My piggy was shot with my .223 cal. Ruger Mini-14.

Only over a year late......but its a Smith&Wesson SW99 .40. Basically a Walther P99 frame with a S&W slide and barrel - great gun! I love the Mini. I still have it and have had my niece and nephew shoot it recently and now they both want one.

Me and my uncle with our javelinas. Both were taken Feb. 23rd. It was a great hunt in a beautiful area (Lake Roosevelt behind us). Boy, those little piggies stink!

They say laughter is the best medicine and we laughed like hell every time. I dont eat them but after my second cousin and I shot about 300 apiece over two and a half days there wasnt a single hungry hawk, badger or coyote in the area. Best not to wonder whats what in that picture ;)

Its not a squirrel tripp, its a frikkin Prairie Dog and they are some of the worse vermin you could think of. lol.
