  Hey sorry to bother you but im afraid my friends going to do something stupid and times kind of crucial. He has an m3 ds simply and downloaded a bunch of roms, now i read about the brick virus, is it possible that if he runs a rom that theres a chance that his ds could be bricked? Its a ds lite if that matters. Thanks for your time, also im new hah so i dont know how to send pm's if thats possible.

  please help, cant get my games to play. press "A" and it just goes back to menu
  
  in games it says "0" games on top screen then lists pokemon pearl and pokemon diamond right below it (also spongebob).
  
  on lower screen it shows a folder marked as directory, then below that it says
  "final revise: 05-31-2007 06-53-16"
  "1015_pokemon_diamond_usa_nds_lgc"

  hey wuts up mani jkust got one more question for u bro. when i try to load up a game it says game loading and then it doesnt do anything else it freezes at that point. do i need to patch the games as well??? i got the games from 1rom.net

  i read your other responses to the thread about the DS_MENU not found....i have the same exact problem. i've followed all the instructions and i have the files (DS MENU and DS MSHL.nds) all within the M3_DS_Simply_System_v1.06_English folder, and yet when i put the Micro SD card into the Simply, all i see is the same "Couldn't find _DS_MENU.DAT"
  
  i'm not sure what the problem could be; when i first got the simply about a month ago, it worked fine (with the exception of the cd disc not registering in my laptop; instead my friend sent me the files and i dled MOST of those. there were a billion files so i got tired and when i used the simply w/ most of the files, everythign worked fine.) this was fine for about a week, when i lost my SAV file. later, all the files somehow got deleted and when i dled the files back on, all i got was the same "Couldn't find _DS_MENU.DAT".....

  hello mr hanky. i noticed that you are familar with psp and nds cf. i currently have a psp on cf and was thinking about getting a ds. i know how the psp cf works but the world of nds is completely new to me. would you guide me in the right direction or give me the basics as to what i need to do to mod my ds and get my homebrew and roms on there? any help is much appreciated. thanks!!

  hey, it seems like you're a pro when it comes to the m3 ds simply. I just got mine and was following your guide. When i extract the firmware, when you mean extract to the root if the micro ds card, how do i do that? At the end of all the setup when i put the cartridge in my ds i get "couldn't find_DS_MENU.DAT" Wondering if you can help me. Thranks

  I got it in the download sections of www.ds-scene.com, you need to register to be able to download.

  Hi i need a bit of help wiht my m3 and the moonshell. I've never had this problem before until recently but sometimes when i press the first icon in slot-1 (games) top screen goes blank and bottom screen has the "game loading" bar but the bar does not move and it stays frozen like that. When i switch in a "new" _system_ and a _dsmenu in from the computer that problem is fixed. However i get the same problem wiht my moonshell but i cannot seem to fix it by simply moving in a new file from my computer to my ds! The moonshell never loads and i cant do any kind of multimedia! a little help please m3simply pro T_T

  Hey I've got a problem trying to get my M3 Simply to run GBA roms. I've already got an EZ 3in1 card, and I tried to convert the game using game manager by reading your guide. But for some reason, I still can't seem to be able to run the DS in "GBA Mode" at the M3 menu start. Can you help me out with this?

  WIsh it was here at home with my son grrr..
  
  His DS has suddenly stopped playing the R4. The R4 works fine with my daughters console. My son has played with his all day, later turned it on again, and it is now on the normal DS menu. It doesnt show up the R4 menu. Im at my witts end here with a very sad little 6 year old. Please help. Is there somethin wrong with the console.??

  Hey whats going on...I see that your the man when it comes to the DS....I wanted to know because I saw something on youtube and I cannot find it anymore. My question is What emulator can you change to the bottom screen when playing a game and if you know how can you do it. What I'm talking about is using the NesDS, SNES, or Lameboy.

  I got a M3 DS REAL with GBA expansion pack yesterday.
  I put about 8 gba games into my microSD card and tried to run them.
  I was like........WTH?!?!
  I can only run 2 games fine which both of them are 32m games.
  all the others like 64m and 128m just stuck screen and came with statics......CANNOT PLAY AT ALL!!!!!
  I'm using 1GB KINGSTON microSD card with the slot-1 M3 REAL, does the speed of microSD card matters alot?
  PLZ help me out guys!
  
  BTW,I notice that there're 3 virsions of M3 DS real and the Asia virsion comes with Chinese and Japanese. My English is not so good and I was trying to paste the Asian system files into my US virsion card and it didnt work. Is there any solution so i can run my M3 real with Asian system files ? Will the M3 team put Chinese/Japanese language into the settings in US virsion in the future? I like the PDA in Chinese virsion because it comes with the dictionary and lots extra stuff.

  hi hope u can help i stupidly deleted the all information except games and now of course my r4 will not play as it says can find _ds_menu.dat
  i now know that i shoudn't have deleted them
  so i only hope you can save me big red embrassrement my daughter has a ds lite and have a micro with r4

  Hi Mr Hanky,or anyone who reads this.!!!!:).Ok,well,i have just downloaded Zelda for the ds,but im getting an error message when the game loads up.It says something like'Please turn power of and start again'or something like that.Sorry guys and gals for being a bit vauge,but all im doing is copying the file from my pc to my flash drive and then putting it in the games folder.Any help would be fantastic Yours Jayteeboy:).

  hey, Mr. Hanky..from the forums, i can tell that you're pretty good with these kind of things, so i have come to request your assistance with my M3 DS REAL.
  
  now, the problem is that whenever i play an NDS game, it gives me the screen that states to be creating a new save file because there isn't an existing one, but it jsut stays there. When i retry it after turning the game off, it jsut says loading forever cuz the .0 file came onto the NDS folder, but wasn't rly completed cuz it's messed up
  
  Surprisingly, the things i thought would be hard to operate are the only ones that do work (lol) i can play GBA games, and music perfectly well, its just something to do with how the m3 cannot create save files for the NDS games. There is something that i am doing wrong
  
  You see..i have the latest SYSTEM firmware (version 2.9) and have it on the root of the drive. i also have an NDS folder there, and a GBA folder as well. Is there anything missing? i tried creating an NDSSAVE folder cuz i thot maybe it wanted to save it in there, but it made no difference. I think i've tried everything, and i'm really cracking my skull over this thing please help me..i need to fix this to get it to work by wednesday but ill spare you the detail son that.

  Hi, i've red your forum about the m3 ds real guide and i have the following problem:
  
  I have the M3 DS Real, and the cheat option is already available, but I want to use the cheats from Action Replay.
  I've put the default_codelist.xlm in my system folder en the cheat option is available, I selected some cheats and than turned Cheats ON (example: Moonstone x999) en start up the game. The only thing is the cheats aint work..
  
  Can you plz help me out?

  My daughter's DS has an M3 DS Real adapter with a 4gb sd card. It has been working fine until now. Whenever it is turned on it loads up fine, however when you select the games icon all we get is a screen that say's loading with a small green square logo in the centre of the screen. I have downloaded the latest software and installed it and we still ahve the same problem.
  I can play music on the DS from the same memory card. Any suggestions?

  Hi, i've read your forum about the m3 ds real guide and i still cant get the games to work?
  I bought the M3DS Real and then i bought the Micro SD card(1GB) changed the format to FAT32. Downloaded the latest loader through your link (v3.7d) and then dragged the sytems folder onto my SD card. Was i meant to unzip any files? (because they are still zipped) I made a new folder in the SD card called NDS then went to [ link ] and downloaded a game. The game is zipped is that why it wont work?

  Thanks for your guides on the M3 DS Real etc. since you know a lot about these I was wondering if you can tell me how (and when you answer this be thorough) can I get the PDA function to work. I have the M3 DS but it did not come with a disc or anything. I really want a PDA on it but can not find anywhere that tells me how to do this -- just that I can.

  Hi mate, please help been searching site for answer but can't find anyone who's had this problem...
  M3 DS Real query. I've formatted card as instructed, downloaded v4.1 & copied SYSTEM directory onto it. Everytime I load DS Lite up I get 2 blank white screens with symbol of a Memory Card with the text 'MENU?' underneath all in red. and does nothing else... I've reformatted etc... with no luck....
  Any ideas please mate - would it be a faulty MS card??

  Hi:
  I'm also new here and see that you are very knowledgeable. I bought a Nintendo DS Fire Card for my DS Lite. I am able to load all games and play them, but it does not save them. It says that they are saved, but I can't restart the game at the place I left off. I am able to save files in DS Organize (a homebrew program), but not game data. I tried updating the firmware (1.45) and xmenu (2.55), but the results are the same.

  Hi I need some help. I ordered an EZFlash 3-in-1 a couple months ago, and it came in with a dead battery (I knew because I couldn't save anything). So I contacted DealExtreme for a replacement item and it shipped. Long story short, it worked for about a week until gbaexploader randomly stopped showing my ROMs, and when it does it's giving me data corrupt error messages and not loading saves. Please write back..

  i've seen your guide and think i could do this, i was just wondering if it effects the actual nintendo ds in anyway? would i have to tamper with the console, like you would with a playstation etc?
