    Mr Movies'
Ive got alcohol 120% and I want to use it to mount image files of my games so that I dont have to keep changing discs all the time. This works fine with Quake 4 and Oblivion, but Tomb Raider Legend and some others still recopgnise that I am not using the original disc. I think they use securom protection. What is the best method/Program for finding out which of the many different copy protections a game has used?
Thanks very much if you can help me.

Good to hear from you Lethal sorry it took me so long to reply I haven't been checking my email the last week or so. As you have experianced I too have had problems with Alcohol which can be got around by tweaking a few things but what might be easier and what I have done is use Blindwrite which has also worked excellent for me in these kinds of situations. Also a good place to get tools to find out protections schemes and hacks for games like NoCD hacks is Game World. Here you should be able to get pretty much anything you need or they will direct you in the write direction. If you search for you're game titles on there site you will find out what copy protection your game has and the cheats and hacks will be there as well for downloading. Use the SEARCH GCW box on the right side of the page for searching for your needs. Here is the link for Game Copy World: [ link ] I hope this helps you but if it doesn't let me know I do use other resources as well or maybe I can find exactly what your looking for.

Again sorry for the lag in response...

  • Auslander (05 Mar 2007 14:35)

See I told you "maybe not!" and was right. Your not the brightest bulb obviously and seem to be very self centered, well get over it child and by the way your car ISN'T as fast as you state, add a second and maybe your on track.
