  hey man i was reading your tutorial on how to get a slim ps2 to read off of a usb hard drive, well i was wondering if u culd help me out. Ok, here is the situation im in, i have a 160 gig maxtor ide drive in a usb enclosure, i used winhip to format the drive for ps2 linux and i have images already on the drive, i have god of war 2 on it and the swap magic cd isos on it and i also have usb advanced iso on the drive, but the slim ps2 doesnt even c that the
  drive is even there. i have tried booting off of swap magic iso cds using dvd decryptor but it doesnt boot to the cd on the ps2, it says please insert ps2 disc, anyway i read ur tutorial but my drive is already formated for ps2, am i screwed already, lol? anyway sry for typing this long message but any help would b greatly apreciated.

  Hello friend, I have both PS2 old model as well as the new slimline one. I want to connect external hard disk to them, can you tell me which console can support hard disk and run games smoothly without any major error ? I heard that slim models main board cant support HDD but the old one can be use to connect HDD thats why I want to know your suggestion. Also please give me link where I can get all information in detail about what kind of hard ware and software I need to convert my old PS2 as well as the slimline one in order to connect external HDD. I will be greatly thankfull to you for this help dear friend.

  Hello friend, I have both PS2 slim.I have a one problem.when i m launch the usbadvance through ulaunch dvd/cd version then a black screen will be appear and its doesn't work.plz elp me my friend to solve this problem.
