How to post images/screen caps with Paint

This one will give you a quickie way of doing a screen shot.
You will need to get the syntax down exactly for the image to load properly. It should look like this without the asterick:
[*img]picture hosed url here[*/img] The img must be in lower case.
You will also need an image hosting site. I use:
[ link ]
Its free, and easy to use. Lets host an image,, ready? im excited too!! Ok, here is what the image host site looks like:

The browse button will open up a window where you will browse to the file and select it with the Open button.

I didnt have one highlighted in that picture, but you get the idea.
Once you have selected the file, and made sure it is not too large to post at the forum, click on the "Host It" button. I suggest nothing over 640X800 and that one will be a large picture.
Here is what it looks like once you hosted the image, and the url to use. .

Then just put that last url copied in between your [*img] [*/img] in your forum post, and it will come out as an image. If you get a small red x or text of a url, you did something wrong. Most common mistake is to have IMG instead of img. Sometimes the hosting site doesnt retain your picture, or stops hosting it for some reason. I never have a problem with imageshack.
