I love the 3540...I think the 3550a is just an upgraded model. Why are you giving up on the BenQ? It should be a good drive, I'm even looking at it for a 4th drive...LOL

The 3550a rips really fast. I like it so far, but have not been able to get it to bitset DVD-ROM yet. I flashed with liggys 1Y4 RPG1 and have reset w/DVD info pro. Will try a new burn with it tonight. I think I am going to up speed to 6x and see what kind of quality scans I can get out of it.

hello you answered my transpoter 2 question in the dvd shrink forum and now I have a copy protection issue I was wondering if you could help me with. I had my personal VHS tapes put on dvd and the company copy protected them and now I'm trying to colaborate different parts of the those dvds on to one dvd and dvd recorder keeps saying that I cant because the source is copy protected which sucks because I'm the original author. I've tried burning the dvds I had made again with dvd decrypter and that worked through one dvd and now I'm having trouble with 2nd any suggestions. I'd appreciate it.

Personally, none...but I can think of 4 on my territory in the 8 years I've worked here. Grade crossing accidents( a car pulling out in front of a train) are much more common, and I've only hit one.

This was the news of the day a few years ago...

A military train rolled out of the yard, sideswiping a train that was on the lead resulting in a derailment of loaded ammunition train. One container was packed with cluster bombs and it fell off the flat car fouling the mainline...that is were Amtrak runs through several times per day at 70 MPH. I'm glad they weren't coming through when this happened.

Howdy LOCOENG! Glad to hear that other members here play a little golf now and then. Where do you hack it up? I'm in the West Texas area assuming that you can't read or didn't read my bio. lol. I live on the coast of South Carolina....gets a little chilly during the winter, but we can usually play year round. Almost too hot to play in the summer anyway.

Don`t you man have a laying around RAM in your rubbish storage? I want to upgrade my RAM from 256mb to atleast 512mb. Some of my games like nfs carbon won`t work due to low RAM. You do it out of good will, no presures pls. I am the newbie at afterdawn. I ask this because I think you have already upgraded your machines and have some RAMs idling. Hey I do don't order movies from netflix, its a group of people that work together who share dvds just like netflix, we work for a pretty big company and we all just send our dvd's back and forth along with the shipments within the company... I don't want to pirate DVD's from netflix...

What's the story with you giving me a warning and closing my thread for "not using the search engine before asking for codes"? I wasn't asking for codes. I was asking a perfectly legitimate question about why I needed to update the codes and as to whether or not there was any way to fix the problem. You then come on and warn me for asking for codes, when I cleary wasn't doing that and close my thread. I would appreciate if you retract your warning and reopen my thread.

It is not regarding a random pop-up that scrolls through my screen; but rather the use of IntelliTXT words from Vibrantmedia advertising within the text of your articles. Rather annoying if there is no way for individual users to choose to stop it. I am 're-posting' the thread to see if any members can help with this.
