Where to find your Nero log and how to post it.

Depending of which version of Nero you are using you can find your logs in the following locations:

Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt

When you find your logs you might be scratching your head thinking...."Am I really supposed to post all of this information, it sure does look long?" The answer is NO, all of the logs are located here...data backups, CD burns, DVD burns etc. We will usually only need the last log, which will be on the bottom. The separation of these logs can be differentiated by this line of text:

When you find this line, left click your mouse and hold down the button dragging your mouse to the bottom of the page. Once you've reached the bottom of the page release the left mouse button and your log should be highlighted...now right click and choose "copy". Go to the appropriate thread at BB right click your mouse once again and click "paste". Viola! your log is now in the post box...before you hit "Submit" please remove your serial number(s) from the log...they are located at the top of your log .


Below I've posted my last two logs, the top one is red and the bottom in white just for clarity.
