Hey Leerage, thanks for the jungleflasher information. Not sure if you're still on here very often, but I'm struggling to get my samsung drive flashed.

Here's my info:
Samsung TS-H943A MS28
Onboard NVIDIA Nforce Sata controller (doesn't show a number)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

What I've done:
When I open Jungleflasher, I get a message no comports were found during enumeration. When I continue on to the app, it says that portio64.sys installed and started and that they found 2 i/o ports. When I go to MTKflash32 tab, i have i/o ports 0xD480 and 0xD080. No matter which one I choose, I get No Drive Detected! under Drive Properties and Vendor. I've tried plugging it into a free sata port 3 and even tried unplugging my dvd drive in sata 2 and plugging the xbox drive into that. Either way, I get No Drive Detected. I connect the 360 and then power on both the 360 and the PC (the 360 drive is powered by the 360), I know the sata cable works, and both ends are connected properly. (I always press F8 and turn off driver signature enforcement).

Are you able to help me? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I have ordered a via 6421 sata adapter in case the onboard nforce is the problem. I'd appreciate any insights, ideas of what to try differently, or whatever. Thanks!

Hey leerage, i need your help but i didnt know how to contact you i hope this is the way to do if not im sorry, heres my problem and i know you can help i just upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7 (lite-on) the flash went good i got no erorrs (i followed the JF tut) after the flash i put a disk in (wave 4,wave3 and original) and it just said open tray thats all it would do (I think like Hardywo above my post) so i looked around for help and got nothing. can you please help its my brothers xbox and when my mom finds out shes going to kill me please help bro. you can email me at pdizthe12b@hotmail.com. thanks nick!

I am trying to replace a samsung ms28 with a benq 64930c. I spoofed it incorrectly and it gives me open tray even on originals. Right now it shows up in jungleflasher as the ms28 but neither dosflasher32 or jungleflasher will let me get into vendor mode. I keep getting stuck at 0x51. Do you have any idea on how I can overwrite the firmware without entering vender mode or even just erase the firmware and start over? Please email me at hardywo@yahoo.com. Hey u seem to know quite a bit about this stuff, and u responded to my post about accidentally flashing my Kreon drive. I originally loaded the Kreon fw as the Target fw, but when I tried to flash I got the message no target fw in buffer.

Any help would be great

Thank you for your help. Removing the drivers stopped my PC from freezing. Guess I should have read the instructions closer. Cheers
