  i have recently got hold of an HIS x1900xt 256MB and am trying to run it on my sytem
  
  AMD64 4000+ @ 3.01GHZ
  Dual SATA ASrock mobo
  160GB spinpoint SATAII
  1GB Geil Value ram
  DVD burner
  Jeantech 450watt psu (with dedicated pci-e plug)
  
  and for some reason when i hook it all up windows boots but them 5-10 mins after booting i get a solid colour screen but to confuse issues windows is still running behind it it does this with or without the drivers installed aswell
  
  but according to yur sig you are running the same psu with a very similar system on an x1800xt with no issues are u using the dedicated pci-e outlet?

  Don't you just get sick to death of those sony trolls who seem to have free rein over this site? I'm sick of it too. I will call them out every time. They think we don't know how they are organised behind nexgen and oner.. but we do!!

  I quite like the look of the ps3 too.. I'm waiting for the price to come down a lot more tho before I consider getting one.. need a new tv and stuff first. I'm not keen on sony, but being an adult I just avoid their products. That's my protest.. I keep my money ;) there are a few of us who are gunning after these paid trolls.. they spoil the site with the constant banging on about how everything that isn't blu or sony is crap.. and they get away with it where we get banned for even getting close to the personal attacks they dish out. I got banned for replying to some troll who called me a slag and a crack whore.. he didn't get banned.. because it was his troll friend moderator who banned me. I had words with a staff member about that.. and we have come up with a bit of a plan to get our own back.. first thing is to push a few of our team into the moderators group... then we will see how the cookie crumbles so to speak. It's last summer all over again, this time with a new group because all the respected old timers apart from us few have long gone away to cd freaks and videohelp. I'm only still here because I have the open source campaign to plug.. otherwise I would have joined the exodus last summer too.. I nearly did but a few people dragged me back, then dropped out themselves.. typical.
  
  Anyway.. nice to see you. I had to drop by because it's nice to see an old face again. I miss the old timers like ireland and andmerr.. not so much fun any more.. no more ooo it's a horses ass threads and that kind of late night posting fun.
