Pandora: Logical drive has more than physical drive FIX

17 Oct 2007 1:16 (Edited: 17 Oct 2007 1:16)

WARNING: Some have encountered a corrupt unrecoverable memory stick using this application. Use at your own risk.

There have been numerous users trying to create a Pandora Battery with no success due to the mspformat error "Logical drive has more than a physical drive cannot handle it"

This Method has been verified to work by users that have come across this error. This is also a good alternative method for VISTA users.

Thanks to Hellcat the Magic Memory Stick + Pandora Battery can be created using only a PSP (No mspformat/msinst need to be run from PC).

A PSP with custom firmware 3.XX kernel required.

Download the application HERE.

Format your Memory Stick via PSP System Settings.

Extract the above file you downloaded and place the "pan3xx" folder in the /PSP/GAME folder.

Now download the 1.50 EBOOT HERE and rename it to UPDATE.PBP and place it in the ROOT of the memory Stick.

Now go to Games menu memory Stick and run the application. Then follow the on screen menu.

Press X to install 1.50 + Pandora files. Then install the msipl.bin (You can use the default msipl that the application Provides).

Convert the battery to a Pandora Battery if you have not yet done it.

Place Magic Memory Stick in PSP that your unbricking/downgrading add the Pandora battery and the menu should come up.

It doesn't work. After you install the msipl.bin, my psp won't read the card anymore.

After trying it so many different ways, it still gives me the ms light blinking. I really need to unbrick my psp. =[

Pop the card in and out while the psp is still switched on for it to read it.
