  • kivory666 (15 Jan 2006 11:57)

hehe, thanks for all the kind words fellas...i'm not much an "online chat room community" type of guy, but these profile pages are quite interesting...
i seldom check my own profile, as you guys can CLEARLY see i have been absent in responding to each and every one of my buddies on here. :)
thanks for the nice gestures and kind words...i'll probably check my shoutbox like once a month LOL, but thank you ALL nevertheless~

  • Tokijin (17 Jan 2006 19:41)

Haven't seen ya around Doc. Stay out of the PS2 forums if you don't want to hear about how great CMC Mag is. It's turning into CD-Freaks all over again. Not for the faint of heart lol. Peace.

  • blivetNC (30 Jan 2006 19:41)

Appreciate all of the help and guidance you've given. Thanks Man!

  • MaxBurn (26 Feb 2006 8:55)

Doc, i have these imation CMC mag discs and i cant get them to burn. Somebody said you have the way to change the MID code to make them burn like TYs.. Could you fix a spindle of memorex for me??? LOL
It can be dangerous leaving your shoutbox un-attended. Never know what kind of idiot might pop in and say something stupid.. :)
Uh oh, gotta run, killer kitty just saw the neighborhood rotwiler go by, and hes loading another magazine. Id better stop him before he gets the law involved.. Run dog, RUN !! Ya gotta run faster than an AK47 bullet..

  • berger103 (19 Mar 2006 21:32)

Thanks Doc for helping me out with my media choices, and the best way to burn. I have used your knowledge you have given me, and helped many of my friends out. They were all using memorex and Imatation. blaahhhhh..We need to get the crap media off the television and put the good stuff on!! Taiyo Yudens ROCK!!!!

  • andre112 (05 Jun 2006 13:19)

Hey, you posted in one of my threads b4 about the psu, saying u had the same specs, but u swapped out the vid card (XFX GeForce 7900 GTX 512mb) for 2 video cards in sli mode. I was wondering what video cards ur using for sli, and if theyre any good?

    Thanks,
    Andre

  • Tokijin (11 Jun 2006 23:58)

Sup Doc. I know you don't check your shoutbox often, just thought I'd say what's up. I unsubscribed to the official DocTY thread, seemed to be a lot repetitive noob requests, lord knows don't need that after dealing with the console forums lol. Anyway, take care man.

  • gurnard (16 Jun 2006 6:20)

    hi DOC :)
here we are another month gone by, the worlds still here
your still not reading your box, but i'm going to say HULLO anyway

    Geoff

  • kivory666 (16 Jun 2006 18:09)

lol, finally decided to check my shoutbox today~ :) hello Geoff, good to see you are still around and lurking as usual~ HELLO to you too~

sup tokijin, good to hear from you as well, we all do what we can... :)

andre112, i decided to run SLI in my rig with 2 geforce 6800 ultras, being i have the Asus A8N32-sli mobo, they both run x16, mine happen to be by eVga brand, i'm not much of a "gamer" but yeah, it works just fine for what i need them to do...im saving my XFX 7900 gtx for my future build in 2007, perhaps then i will get into more graphic intense games/applications. if you have the budget for it, you could opt for much faster cards (ie. 7800gt/7900gt/hell if u rich, just go dual 7900gtx's), but at time i was shopping for gpus in SLI configuration, i had about $500 to spend and this was the best i could get for the price. i've used 7600gts before in my older builds, it is NOT faster than the high end 6800 ultra series, just FYI. the 7800 and on up are, but the 7600gt is not :)

  • gurnard (21 Jun 2006 15:22)

    hi DOC :)
my gaster was completely flabbered, to have the honour and pleasure of your passing through my place
it threw me for a moment, thinking hullo! it's not the 15th july yet. lol

keep the stethoscope warm before you apply it to those young breasts

    Geoff

  • Lethal_B (21 Jun 2006 15:30)

    hahaha geoff!!

elo doc, hope you're keepin' well buddy!

  • gurnard (18 Jul 2006 14:34)

    hi DOC :)
me bad! a couple of days late to say
HULLO. in fact seeing as i am late i'll say HULLO twice
hope is all well with you and yours
    see you in a month
    Geoff

  • gurnard (18 Aug 2006 14:19)

    hi DOC :)
ok. tried a different approach this time and did the unheard of and posted a scan and a hullo on your thread instead of a HULLO here. did'nt get a HULLO there so thought "OK" i'll do it here as usual so
HULLO DOC alls well here, life goes on. the older i get the more i seem to do with not enough hrs in the day to do them in
hope you and yours are enjoying good health so keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down

    Geoff

  • MaxBurn (27 Aug 2006 14:10)

Hey Doc, haven't seen you in aeons, hope the CMC Mag groupies haven't gotten the best of ya. Happy New Years!

  • rock81 (02 Mar 2007 14:52)

Using Taiyo Yuden (code on dvd-r GG007021) media for burning at 4x, movie freezes .5 secs multiple times during playback. Anysuggestions.
I use shink, then back up as ISO, and burn with nero. I even tried burning with Imgburn and dvddecrypter. Movie still freezes slightly on playback..
Any suggestions.......I bought the TY from supermediastore.

  • MaxBurn (08 Jun 2007 13:53)
