  Thanks for your help. Managed to unzip some of the games but I still have some that say they are BC File what ever that is

  I have never had any come up BC files, however I have found the following statement
  
  bc! after a bitorrent file means it is incomplete
  you can try changing it as much as you like, but it won’t work until you complete the download
  
  Looks like the file is incomplete or corrupt. Dump them, after making sure the torrent is complete, if not let it finish first. Torrent files show as the full file size as soon as it starts not as 1mb then rising to 2mb etc

  On M3 real software, on the main menu in the top right hand corner is an icon, tap it and it tells you the latest software.
  
  Latest for M3 is now 4.3e or if you want it Sakura 3rd edition

  The top two stickies on this forum deal with YSMenu, it can be used on most flashcarts and is based on the DSTT loader.

  CFW means Custom Firmware, replaces the official firmware and allows you to play iso files (psp games) and Eboots (PS1 games)
  
  Need to look at how to install (and a 2006 model should be fine)

  It host all the firmwares for all the different cards, download the one you think it is (if you have had it over a year start with the Revolution 1.18) Download the firmware, when it is on you computer right click on it and select extract, or extract here. This will give you the files you need, copy everything off the card on to your computer and format the memory stick, put the files on the card with 1 known good game and try to start it, if it doesn't work try a different firmware.

  hi kittymat im sorry to bother yourself but i wondered if you could help me with my r4 card as i am having trouble and i was going to message puggwash but i cant find where to . i bought a r4 sdhc revolution for my ds and i bought 8gb micro sdhc to go with it the make says lexar i have downloaded varies software but keep getting the loading and i have no idea what to do i have to try figure it out b4 sat as its for my sons bday please if you could help i would be very grateful x

  The R4 is the most difficult card to sort out (38 types!)
  The general rules to eliminate most issues are,
  
  1) Format your micro SD with Panasonics SD formatter (free use Google to find) and use it each time you change the firmware.
  
  2) Download your firmware and extract it straight on to the SD (not onto the PC then transfer)
  
  3) Try the available firmware's - [ link ] hosts them all, start with the likely candidates and work your way through
  
  4) Ensure the SD is seated correctly in the R4 before putting into the DS
  
  5) At this stage do not add any roms - get it past the loading screen first.
  
  6) Make sure the clock on the DS is set correctly, if it is not set then that also upsets the R4's
  
  That is the limit of my gleaned knowlege, if you are still stuck to to www.gbatemp.net and look in their forums / R4 - they have instructions to set up YSMenu, this is different operating firmware and should work on ALL R4 cards - hope this helps.

  So i got a R4 and it is just R4 for NDSL/NDS. I am pretty sure that this thing is real I have been trying this thing for two days and it still doesn't work I have a 4GB SanDisk & 8GB Kingston MicroSDHC but my friend has the same 8GB SDHC with R4 and her works fine. I tried downloading the thing off your website [ link ] but it still doesn't work really need help i am going crazy.

  With the R4 - some are not SDHC - this means you can only use 2GB cards or less. I think I managed to send you a private message with other things to check. If its still an issue let me know!

  The save format changed about 3.52, if you want to adapt your changes (the ones that no longer work) I believe that you need to be on 5.00m33 and do the conversion, they then should work on the newer firmware. I have never had to do it, just I looked into it for a previous thread. Just keep the original save (so if it fails you still have not lost it)

  There Isnt one - the only games that have been patched did not need 5.50 (or 5.55) it was just on the disc. Madden 10 can only be played on Gen 5.50. Games that need 5.55 cannot be played at all.

  when i programme my DS R4v2 card, i get the message 'Couldn't find_DS_MENU.DAT' I know it's there cause i've had it working before!
  the original games all work fine.

  ive just bought 3 dstti gold cards and when i load firmwear onto micro sd and put card into ds lite i cannot get past the ds main screen (as if there is no card in ds ) any ideas ?
