  There are mod chips on the market that allow you to disable the region codes,(lie to the console about the real region of the game your playing)
  there never has been or never will be a region free Game console, not even the NES/Famicom was region free.
  
  but still to mod a WII still sounds odd to me, in anycase PAL consoles are designs are a tad bit deferring than there NTSC counterparts. so make sure when you purchase a mod chip that it comes with two deferent manuals. if it doesn't then you should be fine(as it maybe a one chip fits all type deal), but thats not always the case.
  
  Anywho enjoy your trip to Hong Kong, don't forget to pack your parachute. You never know when you might need it \(0.o)/

  i was referring to consoles, not portable gaming. what would be the point in portable gaming if it was only portable for the country your in.

  hey i was looking through some threads and i know this one is pretty old, it's from april but there was a guy who was asking for help on how to downgrade a psp running 3.90 m33 firmware back to 3.71 you told him to downgrade to 1.50 first and.. well i need help downgrading to 1.50 so if you could pl help me i would appreciate it, thanx in advance - ivanidm
