dude you're from Raonoke, VA if i remember correctly i think there's something called lost colony of raonoke from my history class about some british dudes that dissappear back in the revolutionary days.

but anyway is there a nice beach there???

You are right and wrong. The lost Colony of Roanoke Island is what you are thinking of. That is North Carolina, not Virginia. Both are named for the Roanoke River. The river starts up where I live, and ends up down there. Its a good 300-400 mile trip. No beach here... I wish there was!

it's not big dogs so much with me as it is smart dogs, jxp2307. german shepherds are about as smart as they come, especially the ones i've had, and i've found that this creates an atmosphere of friendship, not just of master and pet.

Thanks Binkie! She actually went with us trick or treating last night. She gets tired easily, but she is only 25, and in pretty good shape. The doctors said that will help her in her recovery.

Not much ya'll. We just got back from UVA today, and the docotors are sounding pretty optimistic.

She got some stiches out today, and is feeling a little better. We had a great thanksgiving.
