Benq 1655

Well I received my Benq 1655 a week or so ago and I'm not too impressed with the burn I'm receiving. I AM just judging from the Nero quality scans, but the discs play fine. I get scores from 93 to 98 but the PIF is high and the PIE is absolutly insane. I'll eventually put pictures up but I have so many that I need to carfully choose the scans I want to show. I'm currently using BCGB firmware, the drive came with BCHB but it seems most members like the latter, so I flahsed to the previous FW. I guess its time to Try BCHB now. Also yes, I am using 1st class media: DVD+R 8X Taiyo Yuden, and DVD+R 8X and 4X DataLifePlus Verbatims. Then I have Misc. randon DVD media that I was curious about Ritek G05 (despite what people say, these work very well for me), MCC004, TYG02, SONY-D21, and MKM and Ritek Dual layers (both of which work very well for me.)

  Well my friend we can both keep an eye out... I have not really tweeted with mine yet [solid burn] and the other things but when things so down I am going to jump in, i WILL INFORM YOU OF ANY NEWS... I was told they are no longer making drives
  
  As for those scans I lean on the side of WELL... their worthless- I have sence peole use the same disk 3 times and get threee differance scores, so other then eye candy- the T.V. and time will be the determing fact I beleve. take care. herrick

  Somewhere in the TY post [last 15-20 comments someone stated again there back] but I understand about getting another one as soon as my other 1655 [total of 3] comes in I m not sure if I am going w/ the Plextor PX-716S [its the only sata out there ... all my IDE slots are taken but have 4 more satas] or put the Audigy X-Fi Fatal 1 ty sound card in w/ the extra ram... anyways have a good one!
