  hi i am only seeing 230 channels and i have updated as well but i did a fast scan what freq do you enter on the power scan and which symbol rate do you use

  Go to Fast Scan and press red on your remote for update and instead of deleting your prevouis channels and starting again it just adds more channels onto your previous channels. If you have a splitter (If you have a little box that has a direct feed going in and 2 going out to a modem and box) unscrew the direct feed and screw it to your box.
  
  Do this every month or so and you will end up with around 300 channels.
  
  I need no what box you've got and what area you live in to tell u your frequency and symbol rate. :)
