ya shes hot some of the others were too. and i am much better now that moving is over, we moved south in the United States. i got my job that i wanted too, and get this... i actually like it. the highschool is said to be very good so i think ill be ok there. iwas just depressed cause of shcool work and moving. the two dont go well together put it that way. ill try to post some of my pics later this week.

Well at the moment, I am a substitute teacher. Most of the time I do elementary school, although as a substitute I can teach everything up to high school and have. In one week before, I had one day at a school for severely disabled children, taught some elementary and middle school grades, and ended up the week teaching high school Latin.
I have an elementary school teaching credential and a degree in psychology. After teaching 5th grade for a few years, I spent some years as a stay at home mom, scout leader etc. Now, I'm trying to get back into full time teaching again. I also work on Saturdays as a photographer.

sory mypsace isnt somthing i use much, so i dont much about how to use it. ill try to figrue it out. i woudl add you to mypsace buddies but i think it woudl look wierd to have someone your age in my buddy list. sory.

and i like this site better than mypsace to be honest, people are nicer here and not as wild. its nice to have friends like you, my others kinda havnt talked to me much since we moved.

My main content is here at Afterdawn anyway ( free music downloads , guitar info , photos etc . ) I started the Myspace page about a week ago , the point being to bring more attention to the Afterdawn page which is much more user-friendly !

Same here, my main page is Afterdawn. Originally the only reason I got a myspace is that way I could access my kid's pages. Like yours, my kids' pages are set to private which is a good idea on myspace.

exactly, it gave me a choice between "anyone under 18" or "only my friends" oh and i turned in a few stolen names i foudn on some sites. what a horrible thing to think its yoru friend then to find out it was 10 different people or somthing like that. could any of you hook me up with more friends? just cause people are so nice here and i would like to meet more.

Friends will come, but I've never been about collecting numbers just for the sake of numbers, or as some of the kids I know put it, being a "myspace whore". I'd rather have a small number of good friends who are real. Over time, those who like what I write and post have added me and I've returned the favor. I'm so new on myspace and in my crowd, it's mostly the kids who have pages, not us parents, so most of my list there is bands I like and that's ok. On afterdawn, I guess a lot of people make friends based on what forums they are participating in.. what aspect of games or technology they share an interest in. Mp3 lizard, the music part of afterdawn predates a lot of that, but we are a part of this site, and when they offered us all the chance to do pages here some of us were very glad to have the opportunity. I know it's helped get brainstrm's music known. I love sharing my photos and for both of us, this is a nice looking and user friendly place. A lot of people think that if you put every graphic invented on your myspace page all at once over each other it looks good. To me it just makes my head hurt and I can't read it. I'm glad you can't even do that here.

HI !! I saw your question to brainstorm....see if you can get this to work.

Log in, go to your Manage button, then click Edit my Afterdawn.com acount details, then, Edit personal info....at the bottom you will see a box called Signature. Have your pic ready, hosted at a pic hosting site like photobucket, or probrably even in your pics at Afterdawn, then enter the address into that box in the following format:
[img]http://the address of pic[/img]

that worked for me...if you have problems with it feel free to drop me a line and i will try to see if i messed up with the instructions. hahaha...have fun !!!

sorry, i am not very good at giving these kind of instructions, was just trying to help out.....you may have to go into the forum area and do a search, or start a new thread asking for help from someone who is an administrator. or, there is a place in your manage area, click edit my afterdawn.com account details, then click send feedback directly to afterdawn.com staff....maybe someone with more experience than me can walk you thru this step by step.

Here you go - this [ link ] first shows the "appropriate" size of a signature image , and this [ link ] is Ireland's animated tutorial on posting one . ( Do look at the first to see the allowable size of your sig image to avoid getting anyone's knickers in a twist )

You need to have your image ready to begin with , and upload it to your Afterdawn photo area .
The system here uses square brackets [ ] with "i" , "b" . and "img" inside to do many things behind the scenes ( i = italics , b= bold text , img = fetches an image ) then another pair of brackets with a frontslash [/] to return to plain text . Like this =
[*i*]this text would be italic - if the little stars were gone! [/*i*]
take the stars away - and the brackets disappear and give you this!
Same with an image - [*img]with the http address here[*/img] will display your image (if you take the stars away)
The stars are only there for our purpose of illustration - a space there would also keep the brackets visible (and defeat the italics or image - not what we want!)
So get your image together , try putting it in your photo area (that's the important part) and one of us can help you get your brackets going on !

The stuff inbetween the 'img" thingies is the exact link address 8 )
I used "edit / copy" but you can type it , or put your mouse on the picture and "Right Click" ( the mouse button you don't usually use ) which should pop up a little menu - you're looking for "copy link" , "copy target" , something like that . If you do that , you should be able to "paste" it into a text area like this , or into Wordpad (or Simpletext if you have a Mac)
Then put [img] , then the address , then [/img] at the end of the link address . Once you get one to work , it's cake !

PS Maybe ask your computer teacher - here at Afterdawn , we use "UBB" tags ( as opposed to "HTML" which is another standard of web coding ) UBB tags use the square brackets , HTML uses pointy ones <> but it's the same principle and your teacher will probably know about that stuff 8 )

"copy link" and "copy target" didnt show. i went to my pictures tab and entered the pic, i right clicked the pic and those two otions did not appear. so i coppied the url and added those two [img] and [/img]

You probably have it 99% right ! Your "img" parts look correct . (Just so you know - for some reason "IMG" in capital letters doesn't work)

The url in the address bar of your web browser is the address of the actual page . The point of right-clicking on the picture itself is to get the linkable address of the picture ( ie the page address is not quite the same as the picture address )
I use Mozilla Firefox web browser - its command for that is "copy image location." Different browsers like Internet Explorer , Safari , etc. will call it something else .

I use Paint Shop Pro to do the series of still pictures , then Animation Shop to compile the stills into a gif animation . It's the same little skeleton again , with his arms and legs digitally cut off and rearranged .

I like that you can group your links in categories but don't like that when it loads on the page here only the most recently added ones show and in order of most recent on top. Competetive swimmers do that- anything to take off more resistance and make them a little faster. But I like some hair on a guy's body. Not too much, not too little, just right. The really disturbing thing is when they shave their heads. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many guys are doing that now. To any guys reading this.... DON'T. And tell your friends not to. It's gross. Grow it long. Trust me. It looks way better than looking like every other dorky doorknob out there. I'm jealous of my middle son's hair. It's always been really thick and now that it's growing longer and longer, I wish mine would be as thick as that. So much hair. Hey, why do the guys who do it often have prettier hair and eyelashes than we do? Not complaining too much. lol.

haha spiky hair yes, big hair, yes, short hair on some guys if they're hot enough, ok, yeah. But not bald. As for Vin Diesel, he's too bulky for me. Some muscles on guys yes, but my daughter was right on for Mother's Day 2006 when she got me a tank top from Hot Topic that says "I dig scrawny pale guys". Yeah I own stuff from Hot Topic. But I don't wear it when I'm teaching, giggle. I did go to school with a some of the pink tint not totally washed out of my hair one day this past June after a night at the clubs on Sunset, but that was high school and they thought it was cool. Hey some of my teachers were hippies so you guys can handle teachers who went through the 80's right?

So your spelling isn't always the best. It's not like you didn't know that but you have improved over time so I know you are working on it. I just think that there are a lot of people who seem to feel that because you're online and not speaking face to face, that suddenly all the rules of human decency and concern for each other's feelings have to be thrown out the window. I think the internet is just another mode of communication but as human beings we owe each other the same respect and basic manners that we do in person. That and it's better to be the kind of person who encourages others both publicly and privately than to be someone who drags others down.

That's coming up really fast! Elizabeth starts her college classes on the 18th, too. I think her high school starts later. I hope you're having a good summer. JJ has me doing Unreal Tournament. I may suck but I'll telefrag you when you least expect it :P .
