Here I am In a Hay Stack

ok, so I'm not in a hay stack, it just sounded like a funny title. Our cheerleading squad is doing well, I'm working on my muscles so stunting will be easy. We've gotten our stunts much better and our dance is coming along. I love cheerleading, I wish I had tried it earlier in life. It's different from other sports.

Chorus. I got a solo! I sang at the state fair, the weather and surroundings were nto in our favor though. It was very cold, we were in the back of the fair, away from the rides (where the crowd was). We performed the best we could though and it worked out. I was nervous and surprised. I'm glad I did it.

Basketball tryouts. No, I'm not doing basketball, I've tried but it never worked out for me. I would simply stand under the hoop hoping to catch the ball if it missed, and then i passed it along. That's all i remember since i was 5. During cheer practice we watched the guys tryout. Wow! They came out stinky and sweaty, not that i was expected them to smell like roses but it makes me wonder how men can bare to smell so much.

College. Oh Lord. I am still not sure where to go. I'm going to a community college first, but after that I'm blind. I have a few in mind, but I have not made a final choice. I want something in the medical field. I don't want to be a doctor, but i want to work with people and get paid for it. Radiology Tech (or a radiologist if I'm smart enough), Physical Therapy (maybe), and some extra studying of International Relations. I am developing a love for knowing about what's going on with the rest of this thing we call earth.

Spanish. Spanish is back up to a passing grade, though it's just a C.
Chemistry. Still got an A :)

the banquet

the banquet was as it sounds, a banquet. my school chorus and drama group put on multiple performances last tusday night and received great applause. i loved singing in the chorus! i got ot be in the cent and in front! the performers coudl nto eat until after the guests, which meant waiting until nearly 8pm. we were tired.
I will psot some pictures when i get the chance.

The cheer squad has a new dance and we r doing it well. we have also learned some good basketball cheers for the floor and benches. my toe-touch will be in one of our cheers. our coach has gotten some college cheerleaders to come help us. I can't wait.

My grades are good. My spanish 2 grade could be better though, but ill make it. Chemistry is surprisingly fun to me. i hear people complain about the math and labs but i have had no trouble at all. my course goes all year so we are at a slower pace, which suits me well.

I have nto yet foudna boyfriend nor have i been really looking. I have foudn one boy that has my interest though, but he is currently in a relationship so i plan to not make moves. If he is happy with her, who am i to intrude?

I am watchign some TV right now in my room and it is Thursday. It feels like a Friday though. Probably because i ahd to do somethign hard and scary today. People don't relize how scary it is- even in a group of 5- to sing infront of 30 other people. I knew my voice would carry and be loud so i had to make my notes sound good. I tried not to look at the floor but i felt like it i looked into anyone's eyes i would faint.
After completeing the song i was so relieved. Considering we only practiced together 4 times, i think we did quite well. We are all new kids in the chorus so we weren't judged harshly. People are voting on who was better. I hope we cna score in the top three. I think we did well.
