October 2009

we are moving again in November

(25 Oct 2009 23:17)

My family and I are moving into a new house soon. We will start bringing our things over on November 15. We already put a deposit on it. My parents and I have been looking for a new one for a few months.
I dont like where we are now. There is barely any privacy in the backyard, the houses are bunched up together and the bedrooms are sperated from the living by a thin wall. I hear everything through my wall, which means I sometimes cant sleep if my parents and pets are still playing around.

3 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, big closets, sun roon, azalea bushes in the back yard( my city is well known for azaleas, we even have festivals for them), close to the park and a much more spacey living room than what we have now. It has an awesome spare room too. The spare room was orriginally a garage, but if nto for the shape, i woudlnt havce guessed. It woudl make an awesome party room.
Ive always dreamed of being able to host parties. I used to have the get-together-house in NH, but after moving to an apartment and then a small house, I simply didn't have the space.

I'm still trying to decide what color to paint my new room. The one I have now is soo small. Th living room is set in the center of the house, it seems like the rest of the rooms make some kind of circle around it, which means the only way for my friends and i to have privacy from my parents is if my parents leave, or hide in their room.

Im in a community college now because I feel more comfortable being close to home and I would rather not pay 20,000 a year for something i can get for less. My college classes are not as hard as I expected, but they do require more effort and students who miss classes or doze off, tend to miss important things.
I set up my classes ot be early morning (8am five times a week, and 9am on saturdays). I get out early too. twice a week, i have only one class, so i get home around 10:30AM!! I suspect other students are a bit jealous. The first thing I do when I get home is strip off my clothes in the living room (cause it is still hot out, and walking home from a bus stop makes me sweat), switch to a bikini and lay out in the sun to get color. OR i strip off my clothes in my room, put something cool on and read a book to cool off. I get to be very lazy. God has blessed with great things this past summer and fall.I have made a great new friend in class and I've been gettign a lot more confident when I'm alone in downtown. Like walking on the streets, i meet some weird crazy folks, but I'm so familiar with the area, that I know how to dodge them. I've even come close to a fight, but luckily the idiots broke it up before it went too far.

I'm very happy with my life and I'm at total peace with myself.
