      I prefer film too. 1000 iso under streetlights b/w looks amazing. Like something from the 20's.

      Trouble is it's hard getting exotic film processed, and the costs are becoming stupid.
      The only thing nubbins didn't mention was the fact that maybe in 100 years we will have no images of now when this system we live in falls apart. Physical film is a wonderful thing.. a time machine if you will. We can't even access data made 20 years ago, because digital technology (especially the storage media) has moved on with no care for the older disk formats. There is a danger of non permanence and superficiality in digital that never existed in analog. An analog sound recording is a direct link to the performance, digital is merely a reconstruction (a homulcus if you would) of the same.. the hidden information, the link to the real is lost forever.

      hehehe.. that guy was a bit of an idiot tho.. he didn't set off on the right foot to begin with.
