  Just need help i downloaded FIFA for PSP and i have all these rar files or they are like ffn-fist.r00

  ok I wil come to the point.I just downloaded a torrent game called hitmain Blood money and it is in ISO format.so I can simply copy it into the dvd thru dvd assuming its a data format or I have to use Alcohol...If so please tell me the detailed steps...Someone in this has given a damn detailed step to burn but its a for backing up the game...i want to copy ISO file (hitman blood money) from PC to the DVD.Whether I have to extract the files thru PowerISo or should I do something ???

  I want to upload a video to a website, and it only allows 100mb per file. I want to archive a 431 mb file into the smallest number of files. The instructions for multi-part archiving is over my head and I can't figure out what to do.
  
  I DO know that I must enter a number in the "Split to volumes" panel, but could someone please tell me what to enter to get the smallest number of parts?

  open winrar
  browse for the file
  right click on it,select "add files to archive",a window will pop up
  select compression method as "best"
  where it says "split volumes to bytes",click that,and then enter the size you need,i.e 100mb,or however big you want them

  Hi, saw your post today. I'm having trouble with Musashi Samurai Legend. I've tried to read the disk with 2 different readers and they both yield me errors. Unrecoverable reading errors or things as such. I'm using Plextor PX-716A, DVD Decryptor. Have the latest ASPI and firmware upgrade. I've backed up many games and this is the first time I had problem with a game. The disk is new and clean. I really have no idea what else could be wrong. Could you help?

  Hursty... I have a question on unpacking WinRar files. They could not be recognized, so i did as you said. and they all have a similar file format. called dl-cr. I downloaded casino royal.everything is a rar file... no iso, and there is one MSinfo document. not sure what to do now? any way to email?   Hey, I read your rar guide and i still cant figure it out. I was wondering if you could help me out... Heres what i got so far (this is copied from a post I made).
  
  I have .001 files all the way to .081. Every time I try to open them with WinRAR I get the error message "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged." I originally went step by step with teh method on the first page on this thread, no luck. I have tried to "Extract Here" with WinRAR, changed file names to .r01 through r.081, opening them one at a time, all at once, virtually everything and still no luck.
  
  Additionally, I have tried to use HJSplt and all that does is make a 7.47 GB file that has no file extension that I have no idea what to do with. I tried opening it with WinRAR and got that same unknown format or damaged message.
  
  I have also read the torrent comments I downloaded the file from and others have said that they have gotten the game to work, so it is not a dummy file.

  Did you add the extension manually into winrar like i said (.001)
  You should really never rename rar files
  
  And the message means what it says,the files are damaged,or maybe you havent completed the download
  reload the torrent file,and if you have 100% of the files,it shouldnt start downloading
  but because you have messed around with them,you may have screwed things up

  mdf and mds is just another type of image,it makes no difference to the game
  just try converting as you would normally

  You seem to be the only one who can help me out with ps2 burning issue.
  I have good media Verbatim dvd-r 16x. They are good quality.
  The problem i have is that the sound on my games is choppy, hacking but the game itself runs perfectly, its just the sound and (usually) only in the cut-scene sequence not in the game. Since i have aquired the FF XII its no use to play it if the sound is choppy in the cut scenes so any help would be much appreciated. I have Matrix Inf latest version.
  some games work perfectly while others are the exact same way liek ffxii any help please would be greatly appreciated.

  2 choices
  change the media to x 8 rated disk,and burn as slow as you can
  
  or
  
  Use the game from the correct region for your ps2,as sometimes cut-scenes will act like that,rememeber ntsc is 29 fps/pal is 25 fps in general
  
  sles=pal
  slus=ntsc
  
  often this problem happen when trying to play PAL game on NTSC console

  And yeah i do burn at 1x speed with imgburner. But usually the game from US works fine and the eu games dont work to well!? And i live in sweden and the console is from here...? I dloaded Shadow of the closuss in EU version and that didnt work at all at my ps2. Same thing with RE4. Any ideas suggestion anything else you can think of?

  You maybe need to clean the lense of the laser then,and/or change your disk type
  If you have pal console with infinity mod,then region is no problem
  Burn games at x 4 i should have said,not x1

  I did try that all out. No luck :( the gameplay works perfect but the intro sequence is #¤#"%" up and i didnt get to the cutscenes, but guessing theyre the same. I just need to why.
  How do you change settings in the matrix infinity btw know that? to turn on pal version or us etc.

  I have a question for you about the game Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer for PS2. I read that you were able to back this game up successfully in one of the threads. I have been trying to back this game up, but I have had no luck using the Swap Magic 3.6. When I try to boot the game it just takes me back to the PS2 Menu screen where you choose to load your game or check your memory card. I wondered if it could be the way the files are on the disc preventing someone from making a backup? Any suggestions? I am also having this same problem with Meet the Robinsons for PS2?

  Hey thanks for your help before. I finally got it to work been busy playing ever since :p. Anyways problem was i had to change the settings from pal to ntsc mode. Lol ^-^ feel a little bit ameteur but thanks for all the ideas and help.

  it can be done,but it needs some special hex editing to remove the dvd checks that scanlite cant find,and i cant remember which files they were
