  How do you mean Help with broadband with ex500PVR. ? If your talking about hacked modems I would be unable to help you as its not allowed on afterdawn and I dont know anything about them anyway.

  Hello, HiTech, Please please help, if you can, i have bought a digivox xl, i proceded to installation, loaded the stations, grand, went down to system information, tried to key in 1004 to turn on the EMU key, but nothing happens when i key in the code (1004).
  
  HiTech, am i doing something wrong or do i have to upgrade the software of the box ?

  When you follow the guide make sure you download the firmware in the guide or in eamos, if you use the wrong firmware i.e FTA all the channels that cost to watch will apear scrambled. :)

  I can't flash to my Eurovox MaxV 2008. It shows Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port at Com 9, but when I come to download there are only four options...Coms 1 to 4. However, I then changed it (according to your instructions) to Com 2 and it downloads (showing dlnd on the display), sending and writing, but then fails!
  
  I get 0000 at the front of the box at the start, and when I put it on standby I get the time e.g. 12:02.
  
  After it has downloaded (and failed) the display changes to - and then ---- alternating all of the time!

  i need some help my eurovox tx is stuck on 02 when i switch it on. The channels had gone off it, i tried reflashing now this is all i an getting is there a shortcut to get this box working again there is nothing when i prss menu when i got it at first i just plugged it in and away she went.

  Hi. I have just bought a eurovox ex5000 pvr and i am having trouble setting it up. I see from this forum that you have previously helped other people with this model. I live in the oxford area and my provider is virgin media. When i plug the box in and go to installation and select fast scan after approximately 20 minutes of scanning with the screen showing various levels and quality of different frequencies. Once the scan is complete it says there are no channels available. I have tried both the FTA firmware and the UFL. I am not sure if i am doing something wrong or if i have a faulty box? I am not sure which symbol rate i should be selecting for my area or how i would go about finding it. Any help you can offer would be most appreciated. Many thanks

  hitec i am in need of help cant figue this one out my dad bought a euro vox max v over the internet dosent know where he got it about 8 months ago after seeing mine he told me it wasnt receiving all the channnels so i said iwould flash it 4 him as i did wih mine but mine worked perfectly according to instructions where my dads will not how can i sort this any ideas it only picks up about 50 channels in dublin 24 on nthell. thanks in advance

  @str370 eurovox dont have talk back they are a receiver not a transiever, EX5000PVR should have the 15 july firmware on it for it to be up to date.

  I have a Eurovox max v, I think its 2006, black box.
  I have tried everything going to get it to work but to no avail.
  It shows Code being updated on every channel.
  I have tried loading new firmware, but it wouldnt download, i also tried manually updated codes, but that didnt help. i also tried turning it off and updating on sky sports but that just resets the codes to the original ones. i am a complete novice, but now the kids have been without the box for over a month, i need to try and fix this problem.
  is there any advice you could give me?

  Hey Hitech .... just wondering since you seem to know all about this sorts thing and i didn't want to clog the forums. I recently just changed firmware on the forums advice for my eurovox for the UK . version as it was scrambled yesterday. Everything worked fine thanks to your advice. But i have friends that have Starview boxes and they simply inputted new codes and all is well for them. Do the codes not roll all the time now? How long will 1 set of codes last? Is there a firmware upgrade like the Eurovox that works the same for Starview that auto updates codes? Cheers and keep up the good work.

  Hey all. I flashed my eurovox max 2006 blue box not a clone with the new software and now wont work. the remote switches the power on thats it wont change the channels only swithces the power on I think the new software doesnt work on the irish boxes. put 1004 and get the lock light on. cant do anything else. Then tried flash the old software that wont work. Hope its not broke. Any ideas?

  Eddie/Biscuit - [ link ] - is Hiteks thread which explains all this. Page 1 follow the instructions to the letter. Choose the file that is associated with your version of the Eurovox that IS the bin file that opens to allow you to flash it. If it doesn't work, Try again. Follow it to the letter.

  I have joined recently i have eurovox max v 2008 stopped working since nov 08 i have loaded new firmware UFL_MAX_V_Autosort_5_12_08 yesterday as suggested but m not getting all the channels do u know what i have done wrong i did powerscan deep scan but only get 135 channels i dont get any asian channels or sky sports. i would appriciate if you can help me out.

  Hi there Hiteck. Im reaching out to you as you may be the only one to understand. mutv is missing from my Eurovox max and 1000sl. every other channel fine. Tried a fatorty restet and full scan.. its tuning in and the epg is working but saying insert smart card. Latest fw on each. on a previous thread Scouser said it might be a PID issue. If so can i input a different PId as it can be changer manually on the Eurovox. Hope you can help as i've posted on a mutv thread with limited replies. Getting withdrawal symptoms... looking forward to beating inter tonight..how are the nerves....cheers and regards Alan

  mate,
  just seen your an addict so will prob be the man to ask!
  got a starview 3, and lost all channels the other night apart from standard freeview channels.
  done a factory reset, put the latest ex c/w code in, still nothing. just says data is being updated and still nothing, then does it again and again!!
  turned off at the back and then tried again, still nothing.
  any help would be much appreciated.
  live in surrey.

  I'm a complete technophobe so excuse the laboured question here...
  
  I have a krypview 750. I downloaded the LOADER and BIN thingy as per ur guidelines and put em on the box succesfully. But it still doest work? I'm on N*L - any ideas?

  i just installed eurovox 1000sl only getting fta channels what do i do next, i live in uk if that matters

  hi, i have bought eurovox ex5100 pvr and seem to have some problems flashing the box. on step 2 of your tutorial its says if the box has not been pre-flashed you should get ---- however i seem to get 0000.
  
  does this mean my box has pre-flashed?

  I have old Eurovox Max V box and was wondering will it still work in Belfast?

  I have a eurovox 7000hd+, flashed it with March update (went fine), and have tried deep scanning every different symbol rate on 64 and 256QAM, plugged direct into wall, VM cable, no joy, one or two transponders, channel none :(
  
  I'm determined to get this thing working! Have you any suggestions?

  hi ive just bought the eurovox ex5100 and i cant manually input the codes
  my channels are scammbled and i dont know how to get them going again
  
  ive tried the menu- language settings- 1968 1968
  it doesnt work
  can anyone help please

  I live in UK, n i want to knw that is it possible to manually search in replay lite for nthell for a scrambled channels without disturbing other channels which are working fine.. i dont want to take a risk of messing all the channels for few ..

  Hi Hiteck, i current have a eurovox max blue with all the current updates. it was working earlier but has just died on me. I cant seem to get a picture at all and i have typed 1004 in to it. when manually searchin for the channels through both analogue and ditial and can not get a picture up on the tv so as i can reset it. i have done this with an rf cable and scart. im unsure what to do now as since ive reset it the code it seems to be going bk to either 8000 or 3031 code. We have one been able to change channels but still cant get a picture. If you want i will send you my email address if you can help.
