ROM HELP - IPS PATCHING

Hay everyone! Well thanks to no one I found out how to IPS patch a SMW rom! All it took was getting on google and going to about......47 blog sights with the same question i had

Well thanks to one special site I found out what I was doing wrong! Well the one and only Wrong thing I did was download a wrong rom. So.....because I went through all that hard work of searching.....searching......and then searching again. I developed this..............................



The N00b Guide To IPS Patching (for Super Mario World)

Here I developed a Quick And Easy Guide ,for any body who needs it, on IPS Patching. Here are the EXACT stepps I took.


Steps

1.Get An Unaltered/Brand New SMW Rom

.To get one go to Google.com and type in Super Mario World.smc. From there it should be the very First web site under your search [ link ] Scroll down to Super Mario World.smc. Click on it and from there DOWNLOAD IT you may need more than one copy so down load it a bunch of times.

2.Get Lurar IPS v1.00 Or v1.01 Or Both

.To get your hands on a coppy of Lunar IPS go to [ link ] Then scroll down to Lunar IPS. Beside it, it should say that it is made by FuSoYa. Then download that.

3.Get An IPS Hack

.You can get these on [ link ] also. Download these also! The best one (and toughest one) on there is under FEATURED HACKS [ link ] BRUTAL MARIO. I use this all the time.

4.Download ZSNES

.This is the emulator you will run the rom on. It is ,in my opinion, the best SNES emulator out there. To get this just google zsnes or get it on [ link ] and download. IT HAS A BUNCH OF FEATURES!

5.Lunar IPS Patch The IPS Hack

.Go to where ever you saved Lunar IPS(It may be in a .zip file un zip it with 7z DOWNLOAD IT IF YOU DONT HAVE IT!) It should have a moon shape by it. Open it and it should pop up a little window. It is not that big but it should have "APPLY IPS PATCH" on it. Click on it and from there It should pop up another window. Then find your IPS patch. From there it will pop up the last window. From there you find you clean SMW (Super Mario World) rom. Then it will say rom has been patched.

6.Open Up Zsnes

.Go to whare you have zsnes on your computer. Open it. From there go to Load on the top bar and look for your (Patched) SMW rom. Then click on it!

7.ENJOY!!!!!!!!
