change

Change? What does it mean to you? Is it something you get when you go to McDonald's? OR is it something that happens when the sphere you live in tries to adapt to the environment that surrounds it? Any way you look at it change isn't always good and of course it's not always bad.

I've seen some people here change for the good and some for the bad. Unfortunately it's sometimes very difficult to determine which is which. I've had friends leave here (aD that is) and I've had friends forced to leave here. Tragically the ones that leave quietly are normally the ones that are missed the most. I won't go into details but I know who you are and that's what matters.

As always we move on and try to reassemble our "internet" lives the best way we see fit. Some openly profess their disgust while others choose to just leave and then others try to fit in with who is left. Hopefully we can all get along like good little boys and girls if we decided to stay. I see everyone the same unless they choose to stand out from the others however they see fit. Hopefully those remaining will assemble with renewed excitement, enthusiasm, and most importantly RESPECT. :D

  Change.. well it's an interesting subject. I have changed and in doing so I have changed some of the world with me. I hope I am a force for the good parts of life rather than the bad, but as I sit inside me how can I really tell? I know that only when I stopped looking for who I was and relaxed that something amazing happened. I found me, and the person I found I liked and have come to love and value. The change has spread out from inside me and has brushed against somebody really wonderful who was also sitting in the darkness bringing them into the light where we have found love and companionship so far around the world.
  This only became possible as a result of my change from a creature of the dark places into the angel I really am. There is an old saying.. not sure how old 'all the darkness in the universe can't snuff out the light from one candle' The light will spread out to the ends of time and space and be a part of everything given enough love.
  We must nurture our loves and our desires carefully.. They are very precious and once lost can never truly be regained. Change is a part of the finding and losing process.. Attachments can be the source of great joy, yet at the same time can be the bringers of very great sorrows. It is knowing which they are and accepting that some things can never be a part of you and your love.. and letting go with a clear conscience to make room for the valued things rather than the material goods.
  Friends are valued items.. like gold dust or angel cakes :) They may come and go, some almost without making a ripple in the lake. Those are the ones who are missed the most, and the ones which are hardest to know. Others are like a large stone thrown into the pond, they make a huge splash but sink without trace into the depths of despair and anger. Few mourn their passing though some may wonder for a while where they have gone. It all depends how you look at attachments and sadness.. or if you can really truly find the joy in being free from ties and willing to accept that this is how things are. I have found my spark, and my light. It has been returned to me in the hands of love and it will never be put out by my self loathing again. That was an attachment and a cause of great sorrow. I decided it was one lump of baggage which was no longer required and so it's time was done. Once it was gone I found things which I never knew I had.. love and affection and caring which I can share with the people who are special to me in ways I could never have hoped for.
