  After 36 years of smoking, the last 10 of which I have smoked 3+ packs a day, I am now in my 17th day of being smoke free. The Commit lozenges are helping.

  Thanks, droogie and Lethal. I will make it. I was actually younger than you, Lethal, when I started. I have smoked full-time since I was 20, though. I wish I would have quit when I was 21.

  Jamzbond, I am not smoking. It is day 49 now, and I am doing well. I am not using many of the Commit lozenges anymore, either. Maybe 5 or 6 a day.

  @ Lethal: Day 52, my friend, and I am beating this addiction. I don't know if it will last forever, but for now, I have had 169 less packs of cigarettes go into my lungs, so I am damned proud of myself.
  
  That is 3,380 less cigarettes. Just looking at that friggin number, gives me the incentive to keep fighting it.

  Thanks, Neph and svar91. I am indeed at day 77, but have had a rough few days. My father is 87, living in assisted living, and fell and broke his hip. That is usually the death sentence for anyone that age, but he had surgery on Friday, and had hip replacement done. The first time that he was awake, was today. I received a call last night saying that he was not responding to anything so for the second night in 3, my wife and I did not get much sleep.
  
  She called the hospital this morning, and he was awake, talking, and eating. We went to the hospital (25 miles from us) and sat with him for a couple of hours. He never quit talking, but it was not really coherent talk, but I knew then, the he was going to be ok. He is a tough old coger. He was a POW for a year, in Germany, during WW II, and had to march over 700 miles away from enemy (the U.S) lines in one year, before they were liberated.
  
  Life is good.

  Thanks, svar91. We had his memorial service on this past Saturday. Lots of family came home, so it was nice. But, I really wanted to smoke. I did not, though.

  Hi GranpaBW i was wondering if you could help me. I have purchased a Skymaster smart mobile mass storage for music, photos etc. I have formatted it and i can use it on my computer, however if i take it to another computer it says found new storage (off usb) but i can't see it. are you able to help. i only know the basics of computers so any help would be appreciated.
