  Hello,
  
  I was researching backing up cd programs and found a thread that you responded to: [ link ]
  
  however, I couldn't get what I needed from the thread. I was wondering if you could help me.
  
  I am trying to back up 2 programs:
  1. Magix MP3 Maker deluxe Version 11
  2. video professor learning cds
  
  I have downloaded alcohol 120%, however do not know what to do to successfully back up the programs.
  
  I also tried finding the aray scanner software, but was unsuccessul. Could you please help me.

  Hey -jkash76- Sorry for the late responce but hope I can help. For a stanadard disc like the ones you posted (1. Magix MP3 Maker deluxe Version 11
  2. video professor learning cds ) you can use nero and copy it as a data cd or dvd, but in your case a cd.
  
  But since you already installed AL 120 you can use "General Protected CD" in the datatype drop down box and off you go, for read and write.

  hey, i was reading a thread that you were replying to about how to back up coppies of games, I wasnt able to make out how i should go abouts doing it but u seemed to know what you were talking about, specifically the game war craft 3 expansion pack for the pc. Are u able to give me a hand, im not sure how u will respond to me or if its ok to put my email here but i will anyways untill someone says not to.

  here is a little help if you need to inject your image.
  
  This tutorial comes from -gRaHaM2006-
  
  Rite, So Many People Have Been Having Problems So I Will Try Explain It & Help Every1 Out -
  
  1 - Download the game
  2 - Extract the game
  3 - Open My Computer, go to tools, folder options, view, Hide Extensions for known file types (make sure its not ticked)
  4 - Go to the Crackdown ISO file (rant-crackdown.iso) & rename it to rant-crackdown.000 (yes to change file type)
  5 - Go and download the Stealth Fix from [ link ]
  6 - Once downloaded, extract that folder & open Schtrom360XtractV3.1.exe in the Schtrom360Xtract_V3.1 Folder
  7- Go to Tools then image inject/extract & make sure inject is selected
  8 - So your injecting the 3 files so you will put -
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Click start after you have selected the file
  9 - (In Schtrom360XtractV3.1.exe) Go to Tools, acidflash, Image Steath Check, Should look like
  
  
  
  
  10 - Burn using ImgBurn (Never failed for me with RiDisk)
  11 - Here is the settings - Write Speed (2.4x) Up the top, Tools, settings, write, Layer Brake (For DL Media) - Make sure User Specified is ticked and put in the box 1913760. Click ok & close.
  12 - Rename Crackdown(rant-crackdown.000) back to ISO (rant-crackdown.iso)
  13 - Right click on Crackdown (rant-crackdown.iso) Burn using ImgBurn, Put the DL Media in your dvdrw & click write.
  
  HOPE THIS HELPS ALL AND PLEASE DON'T CRITICIZE THIS!

  If this is not what you need then click on the last .rar file (not the first) and in that .rar file you will have your ISO and file you need to burn with. I use Clonecd to burn with BTW.

  umm geestar im kinda new to this stuff but whenever i try and watch a mpeg movie all the colours on the video go fluro colour
  do u know how i can fix this? i already tried updating my driver but it still doesnt work :(

  How do you burn .ISO files of PSX games so they will work in your PSX?

  You can either use nero or ImageBurn to burn that ISO. In your case I would choose ImageBurn since its free and kicksASS.

  I have a few questions for you. Is this the only way to get to you? well to give you an idea, i want to know a step by step way to copy my xbox 360 games 1:1 i dont need to make dozens of copies so i dont wanna waste money on a whole tower. I dont know squat about this stuff. i jsut had alot of games break while coming back from iraq and i dont wanna travel with my originals anymore. im aware that its hard to copy originals because of anti piracy codes, but from my searching online you seem to be the one to ask. i figure i need a plextor external..which model is the best (you mentioned in a forum you could get the info) and ill need some aray some alc120 and a few other programs. im not down with the lingo so i really would like if you could help me out with a dummy list of what i need please. my yahoo email is david52222

  Geestar, im new to this but have been hooked on the afterdawn site for the past 3-4 months. people on this site are so helpful i dont think they get the credit they deserve :)
  
  anyway i downloaded champoin manager 2008 last week and finaly converted rar files to bin/cue and now on to a disc, managed to install thinking great. when i went to play it said insert correct disc. i have heard that there is a file name to change or a hack. can you help me please. back in dec 07 a newbie like myself had simular problem that you answered by PM?

  insert the disc and explore the disc and see if you see a special folder named CR**k folder and look in there. If ths doesnt work come back and we weill look in another quick direction.

  sorry geestar , i have searched but no cr+@k file. file names are: direct x, autorun, RELOADED, SETUP. looked inside them all.
  is there another way in to the game?

  by the sound of it, you have grabbed a Reloaded version (which is a group that releases games)
  
  Is there a file in the folder that says RELOADED? if there is then you need to copy that file and replace it in the file directory.

  there is a file called reloaded - but to be blunt i have no idea what you mean by 'replace in fle directory' im a little bit slow when it comes to computing - please bear wth me :)

  inside the reloaded file there is one item - cm08 eidos.

  right click and copy that file. If you have a desktop icon then I want you to right click on the icon/properties/find target and paste, if it ask's you to overwrite select yes and your now ready to play.
  
  If you dont have a desktop icon then start/my computer/c: drive (or the drive you selected to install)/program files/ go to the install folder and open it/ then paste and let it overwrite and your ready to play.
  
  Any questions come right back. I will be checking back here ever few minutes for an update.

  haha - sorry fella im a little bit simple :)
  i have copied the 'cm08' file from the 'reloaded' file - i went to 'C drive' and opened 'installer' pasted it in there.
  i tried to run the disc no joy and also tried to play from the installer folder but it said no launguage found?
  all the files are on a disc if that means anything. grrr

  2. Install Game.
  3. Copy the cracked files located in the Crack directory on the CD to your
  installation directory.
  4. Play the game.

  I have Alcohol 120%for windows vista 32-bit and i BOUGHT medieval 2 total war (pc game). i went to make an .iso image by using alcohol 120% and it seemed like it came out fine. i mounted it on the virtual drive that alcohol 120% made and started it up to test it out. The launch screen for the game did come up as normal, but after i clicked the play game option, the window closed and an error message comes up saying this applicaton is not running properly. i already have the game installed on my computer and it works fine using the disc. but it wont work using the .iso. i have tried multiple times and it still doesnt work and i get the same error. HELP!

  hey Gstar :), this is my first ever post to anyone, im havin some troubles with an iso image, like a previous thread youve had i have a error sayin 'please insert original disc not the bacjup disc blah blah,
  was wonderin if you could help pal? its football manager 08, same as the guy before..then you PM him with the crack..

  usually (depending on where you grabbed the image from or group release) you can find the crack by exploring the image. if you mount (or burn) just explore and you will see a folder named crack. copy that .exe into your directory and let it over write and you should be good to go.
