  • gwendolin (02 Jun 2006 15:14)

Welcome Frank, tell them all to go to the forums with their questions...they soon get the messsage...although some take a while, Cheers.

  • zippyd (02 Jun 2006 18:55)

your site is really looking good these days.....

  • LOCOENG (18 Jun 2006 10:07)

top of the day Frank....don't be a stranger.

  • MaxBurn (27 Aug 2006 14:29)

Ignore the question posters in your shoutbox, or learn to work your own mini-forum. My buddy alkohol had that problem, but i think he has learned the error of his ways.
    Shoutboxes are for shouting!
You can add lots of things to your homepage, or leave it blank. I put most of my reference material and links on my homepage. The blog section is good for guides and stuff like that.
Stick around fastfrank. You are one of the original good guys.

    Hey fasfrank,

Just visited your website and bookmarked it. Very nice.....appreciate all you and others do helping us beginners in the digital/video world get started AND NOT making us feel like total idiots.....were just new to this stuff. LOL

Greetings Frank, thank-you for all of your help thus far in my problems with Nero. You seem like a busy poster, never hanging around in one thread too long. I did what you said, and wrote the test AVI to a folder and used Nero Express to do a simulated burn at 4x. It seemed to work, so I will try wih my big huge project and hopefully it will work.
Just a quick side question, I have a desktop computer that whenever I load a newer version of Nero so DVD shrink can burn, the entire harddrive becomes corrupt and needs formatting. Any thoughts?

  • angel1983 (14 May 2007 3:56)

thanks heaps for your guide, it was easy to follow, there is only one thing, no menus were on the dvd only the movie, can you make them with the menu and all?

  • greensman (20 Sep 2007 21:30)

hey frank...good to see you buddy. :)

  • fasfrank (21 Sep 2007 20:34)

    Hi greensman,
It's good to be back, I spent most of the summer getting some work done on my house. I decided that I have to get away from the PC when the weather permits, Iwas gaining weight and getting out of shape. Fall is here so I have a lot of catching up to do. Here at AD as well as at DVDplusVideo. I really need to do some housecleaning there and make some updates!
Sorry I didn't get here to say hi sooner, I don't visit my own Shoutbox very often. I'll make it a point to start doing that though.

    All others:
    Hi!!
I'm not going to answer DVD questions here. Post in the forums and get help from everyone, not just me! I would like to answer everyone but it goes against the rules to Q&A here.

  • greensman (06 Oct 2007 19:50)

If this isn't too personal...what is your job?

  • fasfrank (20 Nov 2007 21:30)

    Hi itan,
My current job is a shop foreman for a government agency. Before that I was an aircraft mechanic. Basically I do lots of paperwork, order parts, tools and equipment, make sure everyone has something to do and that they are doing it correctly. We do a lot of industrial electronic and electrical control repair. When I have time I actually do real work. Today I installed a control and monitoring system for an eddy current dynomometer.

  • LOCOENG (24 Dec 2007 19:05)
