  ok i followed method 1 and used Run UMD UMD emu and still doesn't work. I've used UMD emu, RUN UMD and then MPHGL and then the screen goes blank and then falls asleep.

  Yes I do now. I ran UMD emulator and then RUNUMD and then it says "patcher failed". I've also tried UMD emu and then MPHGL and that didn't work either. What am I doing wrong here?

  You dont run the normal UMD emulator, you have to get the special UMD Emulator RunUMD edition (download it from here: [ link ] )

  Regarding Football Manager, I have followed your advice and downloaded the 'x' folder and installed them in the correct place..I have also extracted the iso files using UMDGEN.
  
  However, when this extracting process has finished (I call the folder "FM"), I dont know where to put the FM folder.

  Don't extract the ISO, use the RunUMD-->UmD Emulator method from my guide. First you have to decrypt and replace the PRXs as well as decrypt the EBOOT.BIN, rename it to BOOT.BIN and replace it with the BOOT.BIN in the ISO and then remake the ISO. Just follow Method 1 of my guide, except when I tell you to run MPH Game Loader dont. Just download UMD Emulator RUnUMD edition and use that. It should work now.

  Unfortunately, I'm not making much progress.
  
  I have downloaded the decrpyt files, and UMDGEN. But I have some questions:
  
  1) you say on the site "Browse to PSP_GAME then USRDIR then MODULES"
  
  When I open UMDGEN, i browse to PSP_Game, but there is no 'modules' option???? Therefore I don't see any prx files.
  
  2) On your thread about this game you say, "Then get the X folder from here: [ link ]
  
  Which I have done..but where does this fit into the scheme of things? Should I just put the x folder on the root of my mem stick?
  
  3) "Run Anea's Decrypter and decrypt the PRX files and the eboot.bin"
  
  How do you run this program, whilst the PSP is un USB mode?
  
  4) "Rename the eboot.bin to boot.bin and replace the boot.bin in PSP_GAME\SYSDIR\ and place all the decrypted PRX files in the place of their encrypted counterparts, using UMDGen and rebuild the ISO"
  
  I'm afraid I'm very lost here...I understand replacing the files, but rebuilding an ISO, is this difficult?
  
  I think from this point on, I will be fine. I have got many other games working, its just that FMH is very frustrating!

  1.The modules folder depends on the game, look for any PRX files in the ISO (they are all in the USRDIR folder..somewhere)
  2.Yes, put it in the root of your memory stick
  3.You have to get out of USB Mode first. And by the way, I recommend using DecryptPRX instead of Aeneas Decrypter
  4.By rebuilding the ISO, i mean going to File-->Save in UMDGen (not very difficult).

  hey man, i got my download of syphon filter dark mirror, i have the folder with the 14 files in it. Can you help me getting this to run. Ive tried added all those files to winwar archive and then save it as an iso in umdgen but it wouldnt load. If you can help, give me a shoutout

  I am tryin to connect to internet so i go to connection settings

  named it psp browser then hit the scan button it came up with a connection

  give me my ip adress and the other stuff then at the very bottom it says
  internet connection:failed what is wrong!!??!!

  srry if im bieng annoying........but in your 3.02 oe-A guide...........................when it says go to ur game then memorystick............then u say to start the 3.02 OE-A Flasher program ..........on my psp it says 3.02 oe-a firmware install is that it...............please respond ASAP

  Hi eternalis I tried clicking on your links and website but I guess they are down. I need some help getting my PSP working. I pretty sure you gotten many post like this. I have been reading for about 3 weeks trying to get my 2.71se-c to play ISOs. I have installed devhook .46 and that is it. I have found many good posts with links to tutorial but they all are dead links. I dont know if Sony has been having afterdawn, QJ, and a few other sites pull their links. I am typically very quick to learn how to mod and hack many of our latest technologies, but this PSP is kicking my ASS. I just returned from Iraq 4 weeks ago and I was just told I heading back the first of next month for 9 more months. I would greatly appreciate your help those 8 hour convoys get really boring fast.   @pcms33- do you have CFW or OFW? If you have the official firmware you will need to use pandora to install CFW in order to use lua player.
