  I had an Asian girlfriend for about a year and she was HOT!! Kinda started a fetish... eh.
  
  The 680i is a good mobo, one of the best. But I really haven't noticed an improvement in OC over my GA-965P-DS3
  
  The DS3 is still one of my favorites and I recommend it unless you are building top-end or competition-grade. I only got my 680i to go with my other high-end components.

  The X1900XT was one of the best graphics cards I've ever bought. If I had a 24" monitor rather than the 30, I'd still be using it, it's still a very potent card in all the latest games.

  Eh, good enough. I like having the money from the car, but dad and mom are kinda fighting because she wants to use it to pay off her gambling debts and dad doesn't want to be broke right away after selling his prized possession.

It's doubly impressive that you have the PC that you do given the relative hardships you've been up against, but I can't help but feel I'm being lampooned for having 'mummy and daddy' finance most of my infrastructure. Unfortunately as it stands right now that's how it has to be. I'm getting a summer job this year (as I have previously) to pay debts off and to contribute towards my Quad core upgrade, and the money that I used for most of my PC parts last year, and indeed as of October comes from a student loan from the government - that's something I myself have to pay off when I get a job later in life.

  The freezer 7 pro is a noisy beggar at full speed. 70% or lower though it's nice and subtle, and still cools better than the stock cooler on full. Not that that says much though.

  Haven't used it for a while, but I remember this much:
  
  35% or lower: 850rpm
  40%: 950rpm
  50%: 1300rpm
  60%: 1600rpm
  70%: 1900rpm
  80%: 2200rpm
  90%: 2500rpm
  100%: 2700rpm
  
  At 100% speed my 3Ghz 1.43Vcore E4300 topped out at 47C under load, using 70% it was about 55C.

  Only just read your post about Assassins Creed - interesting read. In the review at thetechreport that I've been quoting lots of my graphical performance figures from they mention they edit a config file to run higher levels of AA. If changing the name of the exe works, I may try that instead. Assassins Creed could really do with the AA, and hell, if I can max it out on my 3870 at 2560x1600, by the time I run something quicker it should run with ease using AA.

  Thats great news. I should be good then. I got like a 1900 with everything combined and my GPA is over 4.0(weighted right?).
