  With the Oscars tomorrow night, I thought some of you might enjoy some pictures we took recently at the Kodak Theater and the Hollywood and Highland Complex that houses the theater. While waiting for dinner, we discovered they had the actual Oscar statuettes on display. The exhibit also included Katherine Hepburn's four Oscars and a display showing the sequence of layers of plating a statuette goes through on its way to becoming that shiny little guy everyone wants to hold. I found the difference in the look of Hepburn's Oscars over the years interesting.

  I took these pictures the night before the Grammys and we actually went down to Staples Center too but it was all dark and no one gave us any Grammys. Oh well, who said the Grammys always recognize talent when they hear it?
