It's sooo big!!

Wow.
After years with an old hand me down giganto-monitor that had only a 16 inch screen but took up more room than a blonde's daily beauty supplies, I got myself a 19 inch LCD monitor. Amazing what I have been missing. I am tripping out on everything I can see now! There is so much detail in everything and it's so much easier to read everything now because it's so much bigger. I have so much more room on my table. I kept my speakers because they are way better than the little built in one that is built into the monitor. But now that my speakers are sitting on my wood tabletop, even the sound is better! JJ Rocks BIG time now! Yes I know some of you have much bigger and fancier monitors. But for me, I'm happy. (what did you think this post was going to be about? sheesh.)

I hate being sick.

My throat is so sore, and I have no voice. I slept nearly all day on Sunday when I was first coming down with this and I thought I had whipped it well enough to go to work on Monday but by this morning (Tuesday) it had come back to get me. I have too much to do to be sick.

One year!

It's been a year since I started my Afterdawn page. Many many thanks to all of the great Afterdawn people who make this possible, to all of you who have commented on or read my blogs, enjoyed my photos and been so nice to me. A special thanks and congratulatory hugs go out to JJ who already had been a member of Afterdawn since he first started putting his Project Brainstorm songs up on Afterdawn's Mp3lizard site [ link ] and who introduced me to Afterdawn when he also started his page here [ link ] on the same day. Congratulations my friend! It's been a great year! I'm looking forward to the next one!
