  In the UK, the 2 deltics engines were put in locos, they were the most powerful loco in the world. Their acceleration was phenomenal. I only like them 'cos they were different & there were only 22 ever made, this made them very special.

  Hey Droogie I really want to change my siggy and make it really cool but I'll get to it one of these days hopefully sooner than later. Phantom had offered to do it for me and I took a rain check. Silly me coz now he's gone for quite a while. It was my intention to try to make something on my own and then have him add the bells and whistles, but now I have to come up with a new plan. Maybe I'll go holla at I_suck if I fail to come up with something on my own. I would really like a siggy with a gif image but I'll see. I tried battling with Gimp and it's not exactly the easiest thing for someone who is intellectually unarmed as myself.

  Formula: d=vt (I believe some texts use s instead of d)
  where
  d= distance
  v= velocity
  t= time
  Now if you rearrange this formula to make t the subject, you'll get
  t=d/v
  Now here's the really interesting part:
  Substitute
  d=droogie
  v= hmmmm.........wellllll.....you'll figure it out
  t=time (as before)
  Recall that t=d/v
  Therefore the smaller d is, the shorter will be the time, t , if v remains constant.
  Consider this a "quickie" physics lession.
  
  Next lesson will be on e=mc2. Stay tuned.

  spose you have a tuble dryer..with a pwer rating of bout 2.3Kw (2300 w) you calculae the current it uses..using that formula this is how you'd work it out..
  
  I=2300/230..now you write the answer in the correct unit(Amps)
