How to extract music and images from a powerpoint file

05 Jan 2009 2:23

Sometimes, you may need the music and images in the powerpoint file. However, it seems impossible for you to extrac them from the powerpoint file. As a matter of fact, Powerpoint does allow you to export music and images file directly from the powerpoint as from a simple configuration.

Open the file using powerpoint. Then open the menu “File" > “Save as web page”.

This will create a file .htm and folder containing all music and images files.

A simple modification is however needed if the file is under the format .pps. Simply right-click on the extension and rename the file as .ppt.
